Lakers are now 54-0 (regular season + playoffs) when leading to start the 4th quarter.

If this keeps up, the Lakers will be the only team in NBA history to have won every game after leading through 3 quarters.

I’m guessing despite how tremendously the Lakers scored last night with mediocre three shooting, the Heat roll out the zone again and hope Bam helps reduce the bleeding. Maybe they get really big on the back line and try to reduce our second chances.

For sure. I expect that to be the adjustment for G3.

403 passes by the Lakers last game according to Synergy/Ramona (NBA.com shows 395). Fourth most in a playoff game since they’ve tracked that. Tremendous.

Lakers averaged 284 per game in the regular season — middle of the pack. Tops was 333. Heat have led playoff teams with 298 per game. Basically beat the Heat at their own game.

Spoelstra probably spinning after last game. Ok, so game 1, we went man, and got ran out of the building. Game 2, we went zone, and they had an offensive rating of 136 and LBJ/Rondo combined for 19 assists and 1 turnover.

Short of - just pray they miss - what can he really do? I guess he could stop inverting his zone so at least they don't give up so many offensive boards, but then passing lanes open up even more and the perimeter shots are even less contested.

Almost spurs-like at times with their passing but not a lot of media people notice that
