Did he really? I read that on Twitter.

Yeah. They showed it on the Laker post game show. You could see him mouth Kobe.

Emotional stuff...this entire year has been rough, from beginning to now, and this is our purple and gold lining. Thank you to AD for reminding us that being a Lakers fan is being a part of the family. It's all love!

Hitting all the right notes. Love this team.

And Vogel called it a mamba play one that Kobe would make.

I don't think Nuggets can't get back from this, that shot by AD sucked the fighting spirit left of the Nuggets.

They took the lead, with Jokic playing good and calls on their favors and Lebron having a bad game, but they can't still manage to win.

Poor Javale was missing layups left and right.

I saw that the Nuggets were +16 during Murray’s 44 minutes. They were really bad without him (for 4 freaking minutes) to lose this game.

I don’t know. I don’t see them as a team like the clippers that will just have their spirit broken. They’ve proven in the playoffs alone that they won’t count themselves out unless they lose 4 in a series. Not saying that I don’t think they will lose this series but I think whether the rest of the games are close or blowouts, the nuggets will continue to play hard. And I respect that. It’s great to see that spirit and it’s even better that the Lakers are matching it. Clippers would have folded and lost this game to Denver (as they’ve shown) but the Lakers punched back. Love to see it.

I don’t see Denver quitting. 6 elimination games...Lakers will have to earn the remaining 2. Even if the Lakers get up 3-0 or 3-1, the Nuggets will still be dangerous. They have proven that much.

Dwight handled it like a champ during the Rockets series. I’m sure Javale can this time. He brings nothing to the table at this point in time.

Exactly... 9 man rotation is all that's needed IMO

LeBron - Rondo
KCP - Caruso
Green - Kuz
Davis - Morris
Howard

LeBron (24) - Rondo (24)
KCP (26) - Caruso (22)
Green (26) - Kuz (8) - LeBron (14)
Davis (18) - Morris (14) - Kuz (16)
Howard (20) - Davis (22) - Morris (6)

I was waiting to see Morris. He's been hot. I don't understand why Vogel didn't play him. He was hitting his 3s and playing good D. He could have been another wear down on Jokic.

Ok. MMorris played 9:14 mins, all of them against Plumbee with 0 pts. In 0-0 attempts with 1 RB which was OR. He was -8.

JMgee played 11:45 all of them against the Jocker with 3 pts in 3-1 with 5 rebs, 3 OR and 2 assists. He was -2

Just saying...

I think I have to agree with this one..Javale seems not physical enough and just a bit too slow out there. If Dwight had a chance to start, the game maybe wouldn't have been too close.

Plus, I seen some of the mic'ups and Javale is really great at cheering on his teammates. His presence is felt out there even when he doesn't play.

Morris should have been taking Kuz's minutes this game since he was off his game. McGee is big enough to hang with Plumlee.

Lmao, without LeBron we wouldn’t even have a lead in the first half.

Precisely

And he was precisely the biggest negative on the team at -8. Having the lead in the first half is moot if you’re giving it away in the second half.

JM does count for 6 fouls against Jock-itch. Keep pounding on him.

The bold green is the point I'm making. Also we could have used his scoring. You're wrong about Morris's minutes. Note his 3pt shooting. Denver and Houston.

stats against Nuggets 9/18

I was over at a Denver Nuggets comment board and when the series began, they were to a person super confident about winning in 7. Now they've all but resigned, with comments like this:

"I know it’s nearly impossible we win this.
But a tough 6 game series is still far better than 4 blowouts"

Looking at their earlier comments, I was surprised that they convinced themselves of arguments like that Lebron is too old. Have they not been paying attention to him this year?

Oh well. True fans believe what they want to believe.

You don't wanna know what their board would say back in 08 and 09.

Looks like they've improved.

Can't say the same for Spurs fans.

I absolutely loved that shot and it was a thing of beauty but it should have never came down to it. Stop with the turnovers and fouls, please.
