Have to stop and remind myself to fully appreciate these next 7 games. I don’t know if we have ever seen a team this dominant in the NBA and who knows if we ever will see anything like it again.

Mamba blacks instead of Sunday whites. Hopefully it’s as good of a good luck charm as the white jerseys we’re during 09 and 10.

The 2001 Lakers playoff run was the most dominant two months I’ve ever seen from a basketball team. If it weren’t for that 11 day layoff then it woulda been a clean sweep.

This series is a long way from over!

One game at a time LA!

The Nuggets have been here on more than one occasion; they may be young but they are battle-tested. Plus Malone is a good coach and he will make some adjustments.

Offensively the Nuggets can hurt you in so many ways with Jokic and Murray leading the way. When they're hot, the Nuggets can hang with any team in the league.
Defensively, the Lakers have the edge but we will have to play better than we did last game. The Lakers need to keep up the physical play, guard the perimeter and communicate. DEFENSE is the key to victory!

GO LAKERS!!

We should know better than anyone that leading the series 1-0 means squat. Let’s go get this next one though and keep our win streak going!

Expecting the refs to let Denver off a little more in this one and their guys to be more engaged, hope LA puts there foot down and takes this.

Curious to see what adjustments both teams make. I think Howard starts going forward.

I expect to see AD doubled more often and for Joker to try and exploit Howard in the pick and roll action. I think Denver will try to avoid the cheap slappy fouls, but also try to be more physical with AD.

I expect us to come out very aggressive and assertive again. If we play the way we have the past five games, I don't think it matters what the Nuggets do, we still win.

Malone has probably made adjustments. Maybe play Jokic deeper in the post, make him a scorer and use a perimeter game. . I don't know if AD can handle him without getting into foul trouble. Use 12 with JaVale and Dwight. I'm anxious to see the adjustments from both coaches.

If Malone doubles AD, Bron is gonna go off.

They are going to be more physical with AD. I think DH and McGee will play a bigger role to impose our will on them. I just don't see how they won't get into more foul trouble early if this backfires.

Playoff basketball has always been about staying focused one game at a time. Not letting losses(even embarrassing ones) effect the “next game”.

Lakers are a vet team with James setting the tone and mentality for the team. Nuggets still a young team riding the wave of emotions.

Going to be interesting to see what adjustments the Nuggets make. Less turnovers and focusing on minimizing the fast breaks seems to be the main talking point. Also not letting the Lakers into their heads. I’m expecting the refs to help with that by not allowing as much contact on Jokic. Lakers will need to adjust.

This may need to be a James game. Forcing his will on the Nuggets defense. Not settling for 3s and getting into the lane as a scorer first. Davis on defense and rebounding and the role players hitting shots will be secondary options.

Surprising that some of the best playoff wins have been with the overall team dominating as Janes plays 32 mins. Not expecting that type of game today. They need a dominating game from James today.

The Lakers knocked the Nuggets down in game 1, now the goal should be to keep them there and not let this turn into a competitive series. It is the mental game now more then the physical one.

I take that to mean they're going to get physical with AD. AD has the temperament to play a physical game without getting frustrated, Jokic doesn't. I hope Vogel starts with McGee and Howard on him and they get in his head.

As long as the refs are calling it equally on both ends I have no issue with a physical series. IMO Davis can handle it. As you mention, Jokic has troubles with the physicality.

Also would like to see James get a few calls on his drives. When he doesn’t he starts arguing and settling for 3s too often. Awesome when he goes 3 of 6. Not so awesome when he goes 1 of 6.

Going to be fun. Go Lakers!
