You mean like the clippers did against Dallas and lost?

Y'all have to stop treating the clippers as if they are some sort of unbeatable world beaters. Every team is susceptible to slippage.

That was definitely Lakers trying to coast and it’s hard to flip the switch. Lesson learned that Houston will not quit.

I hope the Lakers got the message tonight. They took their foot off the pedal, almost blew a 23 point lead. I don't what came over Bron in the 4th qtr. He was taking 3's like, eh, this one's over. I've never seen him play that way before. If we'd lost this one he was going to get roasted by fans and the media. If it hadn't been for Caruso we may have lost this one.

Exactly, people seem to forget pre covid- our last game against the Trippers we SMOKED them...If Covid never happened we would be the team to beat IMO.

No. We need to beat the clippers healthy and fresh.

Stop with nonsense already

Agree with Jim here, not sure why you guys are afraid of the Clippers, we wanna beat them while there playing at a high level, so winning against them would be more sweet.

Not only that, I think extended break is detrimental to Lakers. I don't want us to take another L for the first game.

For sure, don't want to make it a habit of losing game 1s!

Yeah that was a bad look, he can’t be doing that. The whole team follows his lead and you saw it immediately.

I think he thought Houston quit and couldn’t ramp it back up.

Yeah the Clippers looked very beatable every time they played them this year. I’m not sure what anyone is afraid of. Lakers should sweep them unless they’re going to make a pattern of losing game 1 each time.

Agreed. To be honest non of the teams this year look unbeatable, even Miami who almost went undefeated seems like a manageable match up for us.

Personally the Clippers feel scary to me not only because they have Kawhi, but because they are the OTHER team in LA and them winning just feels disgusting lol

Is it really fair to the NBA we have the two most dominant players in the nba? I mean LeBron comes off only for Caruso to enter. That's unfair

Great adjustments by Vogel. Being able to play smaller ball allows us to have a quicker defense with more flexibility.

Small ball with AD at the 5 also gives us more offense. It gives us a stronger perimeter game with better shooting 3s. AD is a great rim protector. We have to learn to close. Blowing big leads is not a good thing.

Vogel just decimated the Rockets' small ball. I mean MDA is a offensive genius but Vogel is a defensive master himself. There's only so much MDA could do given the personnel that he has. At the end of the day, the team with better players/more talent wins.

Next round against the Clips will be a different story. Talent wise, I think we're quite evenly matched so the series might be a coin flip. Whoever wins the next series wins the championship. We just need to win one (bleep) coinflip to win the championship.

I know I am late to the party but the effort the last 2 games sans half the 4th last night has been nothing short of dominating. Absolutely love to see this team clicking and finding a rhythm on both ends of the floor.

I rewatched the last game and our defense was beautiful to watch for 44 minutes. It was like all 5 guys on the floor were marionettes controlled by a puppet-master. Rotations were like a machine.

Here's something I'm not sure if anyone else noticed:

EVERY single Laker who played in Game 4 made the same or more FG's than Hardin...lol

have a look for yourself:

No wonder he was looking to pass the entire 4th quarter...!

MDA is overrated as an "offensive genius". The small ball concept is interesting, but he turned the Rockets into a one trick pony.

Houston has one of the most paranoid and delusional fan bases. The tweets are insane.

Like Lebron James, who takes on Kawhi and Giannis, cares about an off the bench rotation player?

If it was Harden ok, but does LBJ even know who Danuel House is? He wouldn’t even know that his name is not spelled Daniel.

exactly, it is not Harden or even Eric Gordon or maybe even Tucker. it is Danuel House...

Losing House absolutely makes a impact. He’s 6’6, 220 and avg 11/6 on 44% and 36% shooting. For a small ball team that relies on switching, shooting threes and doesn’t have a lot of depth....yeah, he matters.

lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

who?
