They will not.

In DreamShake’s defense he did say he didn’t expect to win game 7 against the Thunder and for sure not win against us in Round 2 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Did he? That’s nice. The people I know in real life who are Rockets fans including some family because I have family in Texas - yeah… They are part of #TeamPerpetualExcuses.

He seemed really pissed off MDA transformed the rockets into an ultra small ball team to accommodate Russell. Trading away Clint and yada yada.

But yeah as far as your fam from Texas sounds about right. Texans hate anything California.

He took more free throws than our entire (bleep) team man. (bleep) that guy. Seriously, wish Malone was still playing to lay him out on a stretcher.

I’ve watched a lot of basketball. I don’t think I’ve ever seen 2-11 for 21 points.

Oh he's had quite a few of those gems. Not exactly that per se but I've seen games where he scores 30+ on like 3-4 field goal makes. I continue to be baffled by this piece of (bleep). This is a gd mockery man.

A much weaker game from him. But just enough, especially on a short-handed team.

Starting to like the 3rd scorer by committee on this team... Keeps the opponents guessing on who to gameplan for if they decide to shutdown Bron or AD.

We can't relax like that. Almost threw the game away

But I'm satisfied. We played fantastic basketball for 40 minutes.

We are dominating this small ball (bleep). Take your midgets and get the (bleep) out of here.

A perfect coach's game because Vogel can now get on their effort level in losing the big lead. Useful going into an elimination game.

Funny thing is I said the same thing at the end of the game and my wife brought me back to reality.
The reality that I’m the same height as Rondo the smallest guy on the court for both teams

James with his 2 shots for 21 points is the very DEFINITION of a "manufactured superstar".

Manufactured Superstar, (noun) - a person who is elevated by an authority to a position of stardom due to vacancy or need, or maybe blackmail. Prime example, James Floppy Harden.

probably not tbh

our defense is just insane right now and OKC would have an even harder time scoring most likely

As a team, they made more free throws than field goals (30-28). That's pretty crazy

MDA’s contract is expired after this season.
An if and when we eliminate the Rockets I’m not quite sure they’ll bring Mike back.

Not a good look for him after each and every game we beat them in this series he’s said he’ll make the right adjustments. When they looked worse after every game.

An it’s more of the Rockets beating themselves up more than the Lakers stifling defense
From our defense being “gimmicky” and Harden and Westbrook can get whatever shot they want anytime.

Either way I guess it’s what you gotta say and do as a General in War.

Hopefully we kill this gimmicky small ball scheme from being a real thing in this league.

At his age and with the uncertainty of how things will play out post Covid, I can see them mutually parting ways and him retiring.

What a masterful gameplan by Vogel. Perfectly scripted.

I hope the last 5 minutes showed the Lakers that Houston doesn’t plan on quitting.

LBJ looked a bit old tonight and that will be something to monitor. Is he going to have a game or two where he doesn’t really have it after a couple of dominant performances. Maybe he was coasting but he looked tired and off imo.

Harden could have had 5 or 6 fouls called against him in the first half lol and he still complains.

Yup turning 70 it should be a wrap for MDA. Cancun time.

Euro League Legend. Couple of exciting playoff runs with Nash and James Harden. Couple Gold Medal wins as an Assistant Coach for Team USA. Probably over $50 million made as a coach.

Morey was already quoted several times that re-signing MDA was the biggest priority of the offseason. This was as recent as a week or so ago.

You mean like the clippers did against Dallas and lost?

Y'all have to stop treating the clippers as if they are some sort of unbeatable world beaters. Every team is susceptible to slippage.
