Very impressed with Morris tonight. I like his game, and the energy/toughness he brings.

Complements AD and KUZ really well!

Great help side defender and underrated rebounder. Now once his shots start watch out!!!

About damn time!

Finally some intensity and “imposing their will”.

Great response and win. But now we know they are capable of playing this way. Keep it going. 15 wins away.

Had to run out and deal with some issues so I missed most of the 2d half. Glad to read we not only won but we played well. Go Lakers!

Have to admit I was afraid of the Blazers. Still nervous but not so much today. IMO they're vastly underrated. The Lakers came with determination and Vogel made great adjustments. Howard is a foul machine but he made some key plays. Dame Dolla dislocated the index finger on his left hand. He'll play tomorrow. He may be a little hampered. Hate to say it but I hope so.

IMO the team initially underestimated a red-hot Portland but since that 1st game debacle the Blazers have definitely got our attention. They are still a dangerous team right now.
Take it one game at a time and take nothing for granted; it's the play-offs.

That being said, If LBJ and AD play up to their standards and we play the solid defense this team is known for, it's game over.

The Lakers will be fine as long as they can shoot at least close to 35% from 3. Even 32% may do it if they are aggressive on offense and maintain dominant defense.

Going through game film now. Nurkic is KILLING Portland in this series.

Everything the Lakers are doing to defend the P&R falls apart if he's half as good a short roll playmaker as he is on those top of key stationary looks he gets most of his assists from.

How can we get AD to be more like Kobe every game? Just wanting the ball, calling for the ball, clearing people out the way so he can go one on one. Is it just his mannerism that makes it seem like he's not into it some nights when he actually is? I wanna see some growls, I wanna see trash talking, KG intensity. As much as Pau got pushed around, Gasol actually showed a more aggressive demeanor than AD.

AD is more a Kareem like player. Don't misunderstand me, he's not of Caps caliber. What I mean is he's more a finesse player.

When he gets the pill in the hole he doesn't go aggressively the the rim. He's not a Howard get out of my way or I'm gonna posterize kinda of player. He'll take the 3 ft jumper instead of trying to dunk.

His game is what it is. If he continues to produce like he did last night I'll take it. We'll be fine.

LBJ scored 10 and this team won a playoff game in a blowout? Yeah, I'll take it.

Four takeaways from the Lakers’ Game 2 rout of the Blazers

The Lakers finally found some offense to match their stifling defense, allowing them to even the series against Portland.
