Sacramento hit 112 and had thunderstorms, with big powerful thunder and crackling, sky illuminating, lightening.

To say, that just doesn't happen in Sac would be an understatement.

(And one of the biggest voices, if not the leading voice, against global climate change, Rush Limbaugh, received a Medal of Freedom award from Trump. Now that his award is soiled and tarnished forever, a new award needs to take its place.)

It's 102 officially where I live, but my car showed 109 degrees when I was driving earlier today.

I feel so bad for my chickens outside. I've had to give them ice water a couple times today. It is so freaking hot.

Yeah. I wonder if Biden can just rescind Rush's medal.

But if not, definitely needs to start anew.

Limbaugh was a drug user/abuser who went deaf because of all the Oxycontin he took. Plus, he was too much of a pu$$y to get his own drugs. He had to send his housekeeper to do it.

@$$hole!

We're sorry, the 'and they call it global warming' you have tried to reach is not available. Please leave a message at the tone and it will be returned during the next polar vortex in October.

Knowing how isn’t the issue.

It was over 90 over here on the Sound earlier in the week . . . and that's with the cooling effect of all the water.

Yes, he has a plan to warn everybody . . . and a plan to address the factors driving climate change.

I don't know anything about anatomy. I'm wondering? With humans ice water is not good for cooling down. It might be the same for chickens. Are yours wobbly. And no it didn't

How is the humidity where you guys are at? The weather here is in the upper 80s but it feels over 100. My sweat won't evaporate.

Cooler today. 77 with 57% humidity.

Anyone care to guess where this $400 billion over the next TEN years is going to come from?

If he plans to raise $40 billion per year by raising taxes, are you all happy to pay for that?

Could be the same place we're going to get the money to make up for the debt for the tax, largely, so that the have-more's can live further beyond their means--at the expense of our children.

No one is ever happy to pay taxes, but taking care of the planet so that our children can have a decent world to live in, is sorta slightly important.

Yes. Even if it was a sunk cost, it's necessary. That said, the downstream cost savings are enormous, more than enough to offset the up-front costs -- both direct and indirect. For example, the downstream healthcare cost savings alone are huge.

And to put that $ amount in perspective, we're going to spend close to a TRILLION in the next year ALONE for the military alone. I'm sure every military contractor is being as efficient with that $ /s. But hey, as long as we attach catch phrases like "freedom!" and "safety" it's money well spent....
