Huge game. If we win, we can keep the Rockets in 6th seed territory. That way they will play the Clips in either the first or second round.
Question is do we beat them down to sixth or let them rise to third?
Easy - beat them to 6.
If they’re 6, they will play Clippers either first round or second round depending on where the Clippers fall. Hoping Clippers fall to 3 and Rockets end up 6.

The question is will Lebron and AD play in back to back? would love this answer for fantasy purposes
Pretty sure I heard someone mention while watching the last game that they wanted to play all games to get in rhythm before the Playoffs which they clearly need. Who knows for sure but i'm guessing they'll both be suiting up.

Tonight's game is a test game. Last night happened like I thought it would except for the outcome. I figured Vogel would use players he hadn't to see who would put on their big boy pants.
He's been relying on his starters heavily. Last night was a chance for players who have been scarcely used to show they're ready. I don't like what I saw.
Tonight I expect Vogel to pull out all stops and show the team he expects to take us home. The Rockets are gonna come out guns blazing. This is a test for them also. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

The regular season pattern was always that the Lakers (when healthy) responded to the test and prevailed. It will be interesting to see if they focus on this one or continue the coasting.

Basically, we all expected a letdown after we clinched the West. However, tonight vs the Rockets, I expect the team will come out more focused.
Defense will be the key for the Lakers (as usual).
Russell Westbrook (right quad contusion) remains listed as questionable on the official injury report, but a source said the Rockets anticipate he will sit out vs. Lakers tonight.

The Lakers say that LeBron will be out tonight against Houston due to soreness in his groin. Frank Vogel hinted at something along these lines last night.

Good, despite the fact that LeBron puts up nice stats he doesn’t look as good as he could, I would rest him until the playoffs start.
Funny thing is that the Rockets are the type of team that Lakers can get some offensive rhythm back and score a ton of points on even without LeBron due to having the size advantage. Team has done fine the whole season whenever either Bron or AD have been out of the lineup. Type of game Kuzma should be able to have a huge game now that he is the number 2 shooting option.

Does LeBron have a chronic groin problem or something? He had four months to rest. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
