Big picture things:
1. We know we need LBJ and AD to score 25+ nightly. That’s pretty obvious
2. Waiters can provide that short-term infusion of offense.
3. Caruso is getting better at becoming an offensive threat on the attack. However teams will continue to pressure him and test his handles/playmaking.
It just doesn’t look the same right now. Our perimeter defense is chasing a lot more without AB and got lucky that Clarkson clanked a few. As crazy as it sounds, we do miss Rondo a bit too.
Part of it is probably the Lakers aren’t going all out but it looks like the perimeter defense is going to suffer. We also need Waiters to minimize the silly mistakes and build himself up so he can play more minutes without drop off in his game. _________________ Klutch Angeles Lakers |

I like Waiters but he’s probably our worst guard on defense. JR even looks better. Need to have AC or KCP in the backcourt with him. Need a defensive minded guard paired with him at all times. |

Kobe was watching over the Lakers tonight. 💜 |

I don’t know how anyone can watch this team and still miss players like Randle, Clarkson, Lonzo, Ingram. They’re in such a better place now even if Ingram is an all star. |

The Lakers' non-fast break offense is pretty predictable, players spread around the court, LeBron with the ball passes it to AD.... or passes it to a guard to miss a wide open three...!
On the hand, having some guards slash to the basket for a lay-in surprises the heck out of the other team and the Lakers need to do this more! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I most miss Ronny “Head of the Snake” Price. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I was satisfied with the 4th quarter. The Lakers looked engaged and didn't let their foot off the gas. They needed a game like this to remind themselves how good they are |

Very cool to clinch the #1 seed. Kobe would be proud, though winning the title would be especially meaningful. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

I didn't post in the game thread. When I do we lose.
It was a good win against the 44 23 Nuggets. LeBron was great. I thought he ISO'd a little to much near the end. It broke the team rhythm. He and AD were the reason for the win.
Next up the 41 25 Thunder. If CP3 had made both free throws last night they would have won. They're gonna be primed for the Lakers.
I won't be posting in the game thread. See you guys on the other side. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Great game by the Lakers! AD showed out! Let's enjoy this for a little bit, then remember that the "job's not finished." |

Quinn cook is worse than waiters. Waiters is actually not bad in defence. But it is not good enough for defending starting guards. Even cp3 and Caruso don't look good enough. We r missing ABradley and it. Clearly shows |

If we get some of those AD performances in the postseason, no one is beating the Lakers.
Seriously, cannot wait for playoff basketball. Playoff LeBron is THAT MUCH MORE. |
