Slow news day.

What do you girls/guys keep in your night stand drawers? In the top draw of one I keep my daily medications, blood pressure monitor, thermometer and a flashlight. At night I put my home protector there. I use the lower draw for PJ's, footies, bedtime stuff. I'm single the other night stand is a hodgepodge. I have to go through it now and again to rid it of junk.

No awesome lifehacks from me. I probably got too much misc. crap in there, but mainly notebooks, pens, pencils, reading glasses. Under the bed I've got a few of the items you mention. Also next to me are a tablet, laptop, remotes, bottle of water.

Not in a drawer...but on top: TV remote, water bottle, nail clippers, music trivia book...

Luckily I’m not there yet. I had a home office so my actual dresser drawers have office supplies in them. Since I no longer work at home, I estimate that I will use them up by 2024.

Top drawer - stuff from my pockets. Wallet, keys, coins, headphones, etc.
Bottom drawer - Stuff that doesn't go in the dresser. Extra phone cases, a few chargers, some sim cards. Back scratcher. A few watch boxes. A watch link remover.

When I was single, I used to keep a .357 Colt Python (trigger guard lock, empty chamber, hammer safety on) in my nightstand. It's no longer necessary, my wife is far scarier.

Sig 220 inherited from my dad (retired US Marshall) used to reside in my nightstand. Once I had kids, I got a lockbox for the bedroom closet. Nightstand now contains BP meds, allergy meds, tie clips, cufflinks and metal collar stays.

What if you accidentally reach into the wrong drawer?

A burgler is going to leave more satisfied than he had planned.

Not a good idea for the incontinent. Electricity and water is a dangerous combination.

You turn a burglar into a friend.
