As much as I hate to say it, Boston at 16/1 is worth putting some cash on.

Even before the stoppage, I had Boston representing the East. They are deep and they can throw multiple looks at Giannis or Embiid.

I don’t trust the Bucks and Celtics seem to own the Sixers.

I can’t see them beating the Bucks.

The Celtics are a worse version of the most recent USA FIBA world cup team that got 7th place. They probably don't even make the conference finals. I could see Miami beating them in a playoff series. Not to mention Milwaukee, Toronto and Philly. Kemba will come up short in the playoffs. And Tatum will be inconsistent.

actemra had bad results in trial for early staged covid-19 pneumonia. but there are 2 trials ongoing - one is for severe cases and another together with antiviral remdesivir.

https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/06/18/roches-rheumatoid-arthritis-drug-actemra-fails-to.aspx

AIFA, Italy's drug-regulation agency, said Roche's (OTC:RHHB.Y) rheumatoid arthritis drug Actemra didn't help patients with early-stage COVID-19 pneumonia in an Italian clinical trial that it authorized.

An interim look at the first 126 patients enrolled in the study found that the drug didn't reduce severe respiratory symptoms, intensive-care visits, or death, compared to standard of care, so the clinical trial was stopped early.

Roche is running a clinical trial of its own, testing Actemra in hospitalized patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia with data expected this summer. A few weeks ago, the drugmaker also started a clinical trial testing Actemra plus Gilead Sciences' (NASDAQ:GILD) remdesivir, which received Emergency Use Authorization by the Food and Drug Administration last month.

We were the best team when the league stopped. Unfortunately, it means nothing. My bet is this season as well as the upcoming season is toast. Its going to suck not having sports, but as time goes by, the blow is softened.

Reporting with @WindhorstESPN: Nuggets star Nikola Jokic tested positive for the coronavirus in Serbia and his return to the U.S. is temporarily delayed. He’s been asymptomatic since testing positive last week. Jokic is expected to be cleared to travel to Denver within a week.

Novak Djokovic and Jokic were at the same event in Serbia last week. They embraced and neither wore a mask.

I really have to wonder how much of this kind of foolishness is going to come into play with this attempted restart.

We’re already seeing a resurgence in cases that coincide with the country collectively giving up on even the most basic of protections. I expect to hear of a lot more players testing positive.

You should probably expect plenty of it. Have seen a ton of cavalier attitudes out there. I would not be surprised to learn about several more positive test results in the near future.

Saw someone say on twitter that the NBA would probably be happy with 15-30 positive tests for the 350+ players.

How interesting..doing a blood sample, I wonder if they are doing antibody test also? Make sense as I think they would want to know that also

Maybe the players give their okay for it to be reported, but it always seems odd that these reporters are fighting to break the news first of the next player that has the coronavirus.

As long as those 16 stay away from the rest of the players and not spread it around.

Yep strict guidelines in place.

Also, it should be noted that 4 of the 16 are SAC.
