Has your enthusiasm grown, remained the same, or lessened in the past 3 months?

Do you expect an exciting finish, or do you expect to be underwhelmed?

If i didn't cover your viewpoint, feel free to include it.

Personally, I wonder if the health of the players will remain solid because their behavior and interaction with others affects everyone involved.

With no audible fan support, it seems like it will feel like watching scouting combine action that may rise to the level of summer league action by the latter rounds. It's going to feel strange.

I’m stoked that we are gonna watch basketball again even if it’s in a empty arena, this pandemic has sucked the air out of the normal life that we are used to seeing, basketball and sports in general is gonna bring everyone together.

It feels like watching the Summer League. I have vested interest in some players and I'm rooting for the Lakers but it doesn't "feel" like a championship of high value is on the line. Maybe once it's going that will change.

With few other sports being available to watch, people who don't claim to be fans may start tuning in.

I can say I'm tired of hearing sports talk shows about the host's favorite (you name it).

If the Lakers win a ring, it will probably be have an asterisk with it, and it probably won't be anywhere near as exciting as any other championship.

I am in a wait and see mode, despite the anticipation of viewing live entertainment.

My expectations are limited, as I think player health, both due to Covid-19 and potential injury risk after a long lay off/return of healed players will combine to be a wildcard of sorts.

Unless 90% of players are adamant about not playing, then the players who don’t want to play have the right to stay home, the season is gonna play out regardless of what players prefer.

It will be a nice distraction but the break in momentum and enthusiasm is going to be difficult to re-capture. Especially in empty stadiums and with distracted players.

I just re-watched the last Bucks and Clippers games last weekend. Going to be hard to ramp up that level of anxiety and excitement again.

Can’t wait to see the playoffs but my expectations of “entertainment value” is not as high as I would think. Hopefully I’m surprised by the outcome.

Win the Championship ! Asterisks be damned.

I'm hoping for the best but I think it's a bad idea to restart now. Somebody gets sick and dies as a result and it won't be worth it. Plus the whole thing just feels gimmicky. But we'll soon see.

I'm completely excited - the landscape changed for everybody so a diversified game/mindset is more important than ever. Teams that ate mentally strong will dominate - I think the Lakers are as strong as anyone in that department.

I guess I don't know what to expect.

I'm sure I'll be hyped when it comes game time.

Glad to have basketball and other live professional major league sports back.

I don’t know what to expect in terms of Lakers title hopes in this bubble environment, but it’s better than a lost season and thinking what if.

No excuses for any of the legitimate championship contenders.

Nobody knows. Bring the popcorn, this could be an exciting end to the NBA season or a huge debacle.

Donovan Mitchell, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard among others spoke out about possibly sitting out due to social/COVID-19 issues, per sources. NBPA leadership, Paul/Garrett Temple, provided insight too. Every player had a voice — wants to find purpose, whether they play or not.

I don’t blame Dwight, one of his child’s mom just passed away from Covid

I don’t blame Dwight at all. I do question Kyrie. If KD was healthy, I’m guessing Kyrie would be the first one on a plane to Orlando.

If he is about social reform then great but no one is forcing him to go to Orlando and as Dudley has said the guys need the paychecks and looking out for future health of CBA.

I don’t care if they play or not, though it will be nice to have more entertainment option with the NBA and NHL returning.

I guess I will watch it, but I'm not excited about it. If they had cancelled the season, I wouldn't have lost any sleep. There are so many more important things at stake this year.

I'll be glad to see basketball again, but I don't think it should be considered the same 2019-20 season after such a long break.

If it's on TV I'll watch it, but my enthusiasm has definitely lessened. I hope we'll still see quality play, not a lot of injuries, and the Lakers can win the chip.

Even beyond winning the championship, simply having basketball (and hopefully baseball too) back on TV will be part of our nation's healing process.
