Not really merchandise, but I kept the ticket from a Lakers-Kings home game in Kobe’s last season.

On that note, I bought tickets to game 6 of the 2004 finals vs. Detroit. As we know it never got that far. I was so heartbroken I never even went back to get a refund. I don't even know where they are. Probably in a pile of fast food coupons in a random drawer somewhere.

How much did you spend on the tickets and how many did you buy? I wonder if they would still honor a refund...

Not sure what I paid as it was so long ago. They were nosebleeds so nothing crazy, and tickets were a lot cheaper then. Was probably around 300 for the 4 tickets but just guessing. Now I'm kinda curious so I might look for them.

I have a Lakers handkerchief that was given away at game 4 of the 1995 series against Seattle. I managed to get Anthony Peeler to sign it. My first and only playoff game in person.

Yesterday, I was cleaning out my garage and found I have a Kobe Bryant Rookie card (Fleer/Skybox metal/Foil #181).

While there are a bunch of them on eBay going for $10-$100.

The Mint ones (Rated as 9.5-10) are listed between $1000-$7500.

And these cards sold recently for $4500, $1800, $1200-$800.

So I think I'm gonna look into getting mine graded as it looks pretty damn good to me and has been preserved in a plastic sleeve inside a hard plastic shell...

LINK to the one that sold for $4500:

My weirdest Laker item that I proudly wore in college was this Vlade shirt:

Thanks for posting. Just ordered a bunch of shirts.

Would a Forum armrest count? In the last regular season game of 1999, my armrest broke off and I briefly considered taking it home, but thought it would be bad luck for the playoffs.

Just remembered this one, but back around 1990, DARE held an essay contest at my elementary school. The top 10 essays would get tickets to a Laker game. I was one of the winners. It was an exhibition game against Macabi Tel Aviv at the Great Western Forum up in the nosebleeds.

Being an exhibition, the stands emptied out at some point in the 2nd half. A school buddy of mine pointed at the next section over, and there was an older man with two absolute dimes sitting to his left and right and almost no one else in that entire section. He said that was the owner of the Lakers. So we walked over with the hats they gave away at the game, and asked for his autograph. He graciously signed it along with all the other essay winners who came running over behind us.

All I remember about the encounter is staring at the breasts of the girl in front of me, barely even paying attention to this old guy next to her signing my hat with a pencil. Keep in mind, this was like 10 year old Ziggy, who was just beginning to notice the female form. She was all that mattered in that moment, not the random old guy

Years pass, and it begins to dawn on me about the greatness of Doc Buss. I search for the hat and find it in the garage, but the pencil-drawn "Jerry Buss" was barely visible. The hat ended up getting lost when my family moved, but I really wish I still had it as a keepsake even if the signature was unreadable. Dr Buss was a straight up OG and a very very lucky man.

I have Kobe signed basketball, game shirt (2) & rookie card...I may have Magic and Shaq rookie cards but I'd need to sit and go through my stuff to check.
I stopped collecting some years ago but I do have some Laker memorabilia but much more baseball..

I have a Lakers Russian Nesting Doll that a friend bought for me in Prague on a trip. It has the 2003 Lakers in it. It has Shaq as the biggest doll on the outside.
Because it's weird and european it makes my list but I have dozens of strange Laker items. This is a cool thread we need a gallery of images for this conversation.

I have this Caron Butler Carls Jr. Toy this is weird but wonderful. Carl's Jr. 2005 Los Angeles Lakers Bobble Head Dolls

The nesting doll sounds cool.

Yes, when Jason owned the site. He sold them for $25 as a fundraiser. I wish that DB would do something like that.

Sounds like you want me to design a tshirt again!

My prized piece came from before LG had forums. I helped Kobe’s marketing team at adidas promote and push traffic to Kobe’s shoe website in his rookie year.

Winner who drove the most traffic got...a signed pair of Kobe series one adidas kicks. The ones that looked like the Audi car.
