The reaper is not messing around this year. Another beloved celebrity has died, as Ben Stiller announced himself on Twitter that his father passed away. I know he did other things in his long career, but his Frank Costanza was uproariously funny. He genuinely brought joy to me from those performances alone.

Stiller was 92. Rest easy, Mr. Costanza. SERENITY NOW!

He was also funny in The King of Queens, actually one of the few funny guys on that show.

Serenity now! Frank Costanza was iconic and seeing Jerry Stiller pop up in scene stealing smaller roles in movies like The Taking of Pelham 123 and the Zoolander movies was a treat.

Now's a good time to catch up on the Stiller and Meara comedy bits from back in the day:

May he RIP.

Very sad news. Loved him in King of Queens, he was perfect for the role of Arthur Spooner.

Rest in Peace.

I don't watch many sitcoms on regular broadcast TV but I liked KoQ. Arthur Spooner was definitely the best part of the show.

RIP Mr. Stiller and thanks for all the laughter.

I didn't realize he was that old but I echo the sentiments of everyone above.

May he RIP he was a month shy of his 93rd birthday.

I'll see if I can find some episodes of Seinfeld to watch in his honor.

The biggest scene stealer on Seinfeld, my all time favorite show.

True legend, and class act.

An awful week, in a year already full of them

I keep reading this thread title as “jerry still dead at 92”. I think he would have found that funny.
