Man I love these two. Granted I love their music to begin with.

Definitely two of my favorite artists/bands.

Hard for anyone to cover a Hendrix song, but these guys give it a great try, making for a very enjoyable listen:

I always liked the Los Lobos one better--oh wait that is Rosa Lee (or formally, Set me Free)

(Every time I see that Rosalie title in here, I begin to hum Rosa Lee.) (Love the sax.) (Better with a good twist of the volume knob.)

I had never heard this dude do this cover 'till today:

T'aint Jimi, but it is not at Bethal, NY--and it is a baseball crowd after all.

Little Wing by SRV

Hey Joe by Gary Moore (*also featuring Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox)

Wait Until Tomorrow by John Mayer

Manic Depression by King's X

Power of Soul by Living Colour

Angel by Fiona Apple

Angel by Rod Stewart

Spanish Castle Magic by PRINCE

Spanish Castle Magic by Yngwie J. Malmsteen

All Along the Watchtower by XTC

All Along the Watchtower by Richie Kotzen (*not pro shot)

Are You Experienced? by Joe Bonamassa

I like that Fiona Apple one. Lead me to this other one, with Johnny Cash. Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Hard to pick a favorite here, which says something for Suzy's less familiar version. Going back and listening to Judy's studio version, her vocals sound somewhat buried in the mix. But anyway you slice it, it is a great song with many great versions.

I didn’t know Narada was jamming with Becko. It’s a great luxury to have someone like that sitting behind the kit.

Neither Hey Joe nor All Along the Watchtower were Hendirix originals, his versions were both covers, but you probably knew that...

They're both covers of covers. Didn't need to make that explicit.

FWIW Dylan said Watchtower is a Jimi song. Hey Joe was a standard that is now a Jimi song.

It's All Over Now, Baby Blue by Graham Bonnet

This one's most definitely a Dylan cover.

There are so many great versions of this masterpiece--sometimes even different versions by the same artist(s). I've always been partial to the version by Them--well, besides Dylan's. I suspect Courtney Love feels much the same as she borrowed much of their arrangement.
