Head East was a great Midwestern rock and roll band and Mike was their lead guitarist from the mid 70’s on. “Never Been Any Reason” was a high school anthem and probably everyone at my high school had the Flat as a Pancake album. I still love listening to it.

Never Been was definitely one of those mid-70's anthems.

RIP

First heard of therm on the Dazed and Confused soundtrack. I always thought they were a cool 70s outfit. So much good stuff from that era. Sad to hear their guitarist has passed away. RIP
