Confidence, he had big games last season when everyone was hurt. Vogel is trying his best of containing AC

I was going to suggest the same thing tonight. It sounds like a joke, but I'm seriously wondering...

Haven’t we won our games this year when he’s been out?

Pretty much the same for all teams with a superstar. Imagine the Bucks without Giannis

So AD isn’t a superstar?

Of course he is, that’s why we are first in the west.

My point is without LeBron but with AD we’re still a .500 team

Just curious since you obvious are not getting it.....what was our record last year with Lebron without AD?

(exactly)

Hope this will change in the playoffs

If you watched Lebron since he joined the heat...I wouldn’t get my hopes up. This year though...it’s pathetic the way the refs treat him compared to the other top stars

Completely different team and completely different LeBron. If you don’t see that, there’s no point in trying.

Caruso really helped us scrape this win out, the Pel's kept coming back all game long.

LBJ though - wow. Amazing, dominant game.

Heres a good joke:

Zion had almost as many FTA (19) as the Lakers team (21)

I mean come on. That is serious BS.

That is not the point nor the point you were making......the fact is without the two of them playing together we are nowhere close to our record that we have......Labron is not carrying a team of jags any more then AD is......and you KNOW it

You have to appreciate what AC brought to the game his stat line in 17 min were better than Lonzo ball in 30+ min. I am so glad Lonzo and his father's antics are in the basement dwelling Pelicans. It was worth giving away 100 first rounders to get rid of him.

Hopefully the growth of Alex is just getting started.

Forget it. If you think LeBron and AD can equally carry this team, you obviously don’t get the point l.

I think Kuzma did ok with AC, Vogel just needs to stop giving rondo too many minutes. 5 minutes is enoughX if he is playing well, leave him in, if not, bring in AC

Caruso has so surpassed Rondo that I am not even sure Rajon should be on this team.

What are ppls thoughts on Waiters?

No....it is not that they can equally carry the team...it is that NEITHER of them can.

Watching them just destroy teams on the boards like this shows how unfair most of the potential playoff matchups will be. The difference in 50/50 balls was like watching an NBA team playing a 10 and under youth team.

If Lebron doesn't get injured last year, the Lakers are a playoff team and that is after Magic completely wasted our FA space on Beasley, Stepheson KCP and Rondo. Replace those with actually good players - such as Brook Lopez and that team is a top tier team.

Even this year, if we didn't make the AD trade and used our FA money smartly, I still think we are a top-3 seed in the west.

It’s not a coincidence that this team loses leads when a Rondo enters the game. If he’s not lighting it up, he plays no defense and the offense sputters while he probes and runs it back out and milks the clock until we take a poor shot. Sadly he has a good game every 10 games which keeps him in the rotation.

His 3pt shot is completely gone as well and teams aren’t even guarding him allowing them to pack the paint. He’s gotta sit on that bench permanently. Enough is enough. Let Alex fly!

To be fair, we hacked him an awful lot, which I would assume was strategic. We didn't want to give them any sort of energy and he is pretty automatic going downhill, whereas he is pretty iffy from the line.

Nice win by the Lakers. Fun game to watch and good to see them challenged by the Pels. They play hard just too young and inefficient.

Lakers needing to pick up the defensive intensity was good for the team. Pels are just a great matchup for the Lakers. Too big, too experienced and no matchup for James. Hope to see it as the opening playoff series.
