Whatever happens this year...in the offseason he’s gotta work hard on his post game. He’s no longer quick enough to take guys off the dribble. While he’s still good I’m kinda bummed to see how human he looks nowadays.
You know why he can’t take guys off dribble? People dare him to shoot
He has never been able to take people off dribble unless it is in fast break which he got a head start

Yeah, people just dare Lebron to beat them over the top. It doesn't mean he can't beat guys off the dribble but with coaches demanding defenders collapse into the paint or to lay off him a bit, many of his great plays come off screens
LAbron was 15-7-13 tonight in only 29 minutes. Hit all 5 of his free throws. We got destroyed from the 3 pt line and Boards (48-36).
Bron showed leadership and played with heart.
We watched different games.
I saw multiple times he was sleepwalking and playing uninspired. The rest of the team followed right along. Davis and James combined for 24 pts in a rivalry game during prime time. None of the Lakers had a good game or more importantly showed any emotion as the Celtics clowned them from the second quarter on.
They got punched in the face and rolled over into a quivering ball instead of showing any emotion or fight. How much “heart” was James showing on defense, when he looked dazed on the inbounds tip play or after he got posterized when he barely jumped.
I’m being critical of James because he is the leader but I can’t think of a moment where any of the Lakers showed much heart.
At least they have a chance to pump out their chests and show some intensity on Wed against the Knicks.

He must have missed 40 lay-ups this year that in any other year were dunks or easy makes.
In the last 3 games, he is shooting 55% in the restricted area, which is 10% lower than his season average, which is already 10% lower than peak Lebron.

Lebron milked on shots blocked by his teammates. Bron got the ball as a result of the block on the perimeter and opponents were not yet ready to recover and play defense. Watch again most of Lebron's fastbreaks resulting from blocked shots by McGee or others. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples

Transition points are almost automatic for Bron but quite a bit harder for everyone else. Letting anyone else take the ball up in these situations is just asking to lose out on easy buckets.
Who would you rather steamroll it up the court, Lebron or Rondo/Kuzma/Caruso?

Rondo would have made 95% of the baskets Lebron made from the fastbreaks resulting from shots blocked.
He wouldn't have. Prime Rondo yes, current Rondo has games where he's amazing driving to the basket and games where he can't buy a layup. I expect he'll turn it on more in the playoffs (playoff Rondo).
Caruso is a poor finisher at the rim.
Kuzma doesn't really have the post moves and shuns contact in exchange for floaters.
KCP tends to hit the deck a LOT on fast break points, and was missing layups earlier in the year.

The underlying problem is the type of zone defenses teams get away with on us. We either can't shoot, or don't trust our shooters. Our starters may be good defensively, but Green is the only shooter for LeBron to find.
I don't see anywhere for him to go with the defense sagging off the perimeter, LeBron is likely to pick up a charge if he drives. Should've passed to AD after Brown cut him off, if he didn't want the stepback. He's not getting a quality paint touch against that Box-and-1. Neither would Derrick Rose.

Agree. 100% of the time, LAbron. He makes it look so easy.

Sometimes lebron holding the ball way too long in the perimeter. Then he either take a forced 3 or turn it over.
Teams will just double AD and let lebron shoot. His post ups are not efficient as his footwork is not elite.

Lakers are in 1st Place in the West. I kind of doubt that you have the recipe for beating the Lakers, but no NBA team has figured it out. Lol.

Lebron James continued his streak of playing soft, uninspired, and ineffective basketball against Finals calibur opponents. I have previously posted Lebron's stats in these games (Clippers, Bucks, Raptors), and we can now add Celtics to the list.
In these games, Lebron James is averaging 37% from the field, 22% from 3 point line, and 4.7 turnovers.
I love Lebron James, and he can beat up on those lesser teams quite easily. But it is undeniable that he is mentally soft when it comes to playing against the quality opponents. And unless this so-called "Playoffs Lebron" shows up, then Lebron's issues here will prevent the Lakers from winning it all this year.

Sixers gonna eat us alive too. Ben/richardson/Tobias thrown at bron and Joel usually destroys AD.

When no midrange game meets assist hunting.
Oh well, he's allowed to have a bad game. But I agree, having a perimeter star beside him wouldn't hurt. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
