Isn't Davis questionable? It will be really tough without him.

Rockets coach has said to combat our bigs they plan to play 2 bigs for most of the game.

People are wondering which two bigs he's talking about and how quickly they can clone Capella

Won't really matter though. Looks like AD won't be ready in time so Capella's clone can stay in their emergency bag for a little while longer

Harden gonna be looking for those whistles even more after his last performance. I think he was like 3-12 or something from the field.
25 free throw attempts tonight. Book it

Anthony Davis didn’t practice today but is doing some work after practice (see prior video/tweet) and will be listed as questionable for the game at Houston.

It was tweeted that he’s questionable HOWEVER they also said they needed him to have contact in practice before he was ready to come back for a game. He didn’t participate in practice today so I don’t know if they’re practicing tomorrow or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

All they need to do is pack the paint and let Houston shoot open 3's all day. They'll only shoot 25-30% and if the Lakers just secure the rebounds, that's an easy win.

Green and Rivers out.

May not seem like much but Rivers and Greens 3 pt shooting may be missed by Houston. Also Green averages around 11 ppg, Rivers around 7. I don't know Rivers or Greens 3pt% I do know Rivers can get hot from beyond the ark. This is gonna be a let the Rockets have theirs, double team Harden, keep the ball out of his hands. If AD plays I see win, if not I see a dog fight.

I think McLemore has been their hot shooter lately.

No AD will make it tough, I don’t see the Lakers winning a 3 point shooting chuck fest with Houston.

Also this is the one opponent where the Lakers have to focus and not do their usual excessive unnecessary fouling.

NO AD

Per McTen

Lakers star big man Anthony Davis will not play Saturday in Houston, missing his fifth straight game as he continues to recover from a hard fall on his backside against the Knicks

If Harden has a free throw parade, this game is gonna be a blow out loss, it’s unfortunate we aren’t gonna have AD but it gives Kuzma a chance to grow.

I’m willing to bet my life that AD plays this game if it meant something but we have a nice lead at the 1st spot even though the Nuggets and Clippers are kinda closing the gap, I’m fine if the Lakers are doing load management with AD if the Clippers can do it, then we should to.

I’m sure they are being extra cautious, but like you said the other teams are closing the gap.

1 or 2 seed is important this season imo. Still too early to tell which one is preferable depending on where Denver/Utah/Clippers/Houston end up...
