If anyone is wondering why Rondo didn't finish the game well, he injured his hand likely on that CP3 foul

Rajon Rondo has a strained fourth finger on his right hand, per the Lakers. X-rays came back negative. He’s day-to-day.

All good, he will be fine👍

Since we are pretty secured in this first place of West and OKC in on
a hot streak and its a back to back on the road i wouldnt mind if both
Lbj and AD sat out. In this case we would easily win by 15 points and we
would be free to complain about the dysfunction of Cook, Daniels, Duntley,
Antetokoympo and Caruso who gave away a 20 pts lead.

If you count the three Bench players who started, the true bench scored a lot more than that..!

Good to see the guys at the end of the bench get some big minutes and contribute, time to think about sitting LeBron and AD more often tp save them for the playoffs,,,

The Lakers got to their hotel in OKC around 3 a.m. local time late last night after flying from Dallas. Rajon Rondo said a group of 6 or 7 of the guys stayed up talking about ball until about 5 in the morning -- including him and Kuzma. Then they combined for 57 pts vs. OKC.

Dope. The love of the game.

I have hearts beaming out of eyes for this team.

I love these boys. Between these guys, the 2001 team that peaked in the playoffs and destroyed everybody, 2009 team that redeemed themselves from the year before, and 1995 Lakershow squad that upset Seattle and took it to the #1 seeded Spurs, its close and if they win it, these guys would definitely be my favorite team

RECAP:

    Lakers top Thunder 125-110
    (w/o LBJ, AD, D. Green)

    Quote:
Kyle Kuzma scored a season-high 36 points and the Los Angeles Lakers rolled past the Oklahoma City Thunder 125-110 on Saturday night without stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Lakers coach Frank Vogel said James had a chest cold. James is averaging 25.4 points, a league-leading 10.7 assists and 8.7 rebounds and has helped the Lakers to the best record in the Western Conference.
Davis, who leads the Lakers with 27.1 points per game, missed his second straight game with a gluteus maximus contusion.

It didn’t matter. Kuzma, in just his third start of the season, made 15 of 24 shots. Rajon Rondo added 21 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the Lakers. Los Angeles shot 51.5% to win its eighth in a row.

James played Friday night and had 35 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a win in Dallas.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari each scored 24 points for the Thunder.

Very winnable game. The Thunder are one of the worst shooting teams in the league and even without LeBron and AD, the Lakers have a bunch of guys that can catch fire.

Treble, no offense man, but you say some of the most outlandish wearing purple and gold glasses stuff at times.😎

How often is it wrong? This team delivers so often that I always expect the most optimistic results now.

Whatever voodoo you using bro keep it up! They winning! Go go!

I have no idea why or how the Lakers always pull out the games that seem unlikely, I just know that they always do it.

Anybody seen or heard from AD23? It's funny how one can be boisterous and combative until the proof of the pudding rears it's beautiful head. COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!!

Let’s be realistic. Back to back. Missing 2 of your stars and a role player. OKC playing well. They may keep it close early but OKC will pull away. Thinking 110-95 game

Hellofa win.

Carushow was absent too; since LBJ did't play i guess they had to "load manage" too.

Kind of think this was my favorite game of the season this far.

I didn't expect a win, let alone, a blowout.

I thought if anything, OKC was going to have a field day. I absolutely loved the offensive distribution and, yes, I thought Rondo set the tone.

No one got flustered, aggravated or put their head down when it seemed OKC was making a legit push. Credit to the squad for showing up and showing out.

Got 12-27 Cleveland @home tomorrow. Trap game. I don't think Vogel will let the team overlook them. In the past they have tended to play to the level of the competition. I expect another nail biting win. Going for 9 tomorrow looking to best seasons win streak of 10. GO PURPLE & GOLD

Lebron and AD should just take a mini vacation if the Lakers could blow out teams without them. Who needs Lebron and AD?

Cavs then Magic.... Good chance to match 10, but then I have a feeling it'll be snapped again when they go to Houston. After Houston is Boston. Man, I'd love for them to beat both Houston and Boston to get back that luster that was lost in that four game losing streak to top teams.
