I maintain that Vince Carter had a somewhat disappointing NBA career. He burst on the scene in his second year, but never really attained those heights again. He had all the physical tools and a pretty good jumpshot, but never became a top player. He is a hall of famer certainly (heck who isn't these days) but he is below several of his contemporaries.

Amazing and weird career. Starting off as a dunk master, and turned himself into a savvy veteran with 3 -point range.
