Played well for most of the game. Shots just stopped falling when we needed it the most. Lebron looks injured and probably is injured. AD seems to be aswell. We cant keep on going with Bradley and Rondo im sorry they are negatives on the floor..Did y'all see Bradleys corner 3s? They barely hit the rim, dude cant hit a shot from outside to save his life and dont get me started on rondo. We need some roster changes but how we get it i have no idea. I'll take this game as a positive. Lebron played like (bleep) and we still should have won. I just hope we get Lebron at his best come playoffs.

Shouldn't have given up that lead, but refs (bleep) us down the stretch.
Christmas ended on a sour note .

Wasn’t able to watch the second half. Kind of a bummer how things turned out.

Just looking at stats, Bron had 12 3-pointers, making only 2, and only 4 free throws. Was that just taking what the defense gave him, or was he playing to avoid contact?

Lebron acted hurt to me too. We made a great effort and it felt like we out played them overall. Missing all those 3’s at the end killed us, not to mention the last trip down where Lebron got the ball knocked away. Was that really the play we were going for to try tie the game?

I thought Vogel should of called a time out to stop a couple of their runs, but he didn’t and they got back in the game each time.

Also, we don’t seem to have anyone that can attack and draw fouls when we need it.

Ugh, the end was tough to watch.

I don’t think we matchup real well against the Clippers TBH. We should have won that game but still found a way to lose to the Clippers again. Kawhi has had his way in the first two games.

Tough one to watch

Lakers average 30 3's a game this year, but versus the Clippers elected to toss up 50% more: 45 in total. When they went into halftime, their 3 point shooting was solid, at 36% with an 8-22 performance. They led by 12 at the half.

In the second half, the Lakers ran out of the gate tossing up 3's (going on a 1-8 and ultimately a 1-9 stretch); and between that and some turnovers, the Clippers would get themselves back in the game.

But the Lakers were still not done with the 3 ball. Even after that 1-9 start, they chose to chuck up 14 more 3's in the second half, and hit only 3 of those. That's an incredible amount of non-scoring possessions and frankly its a wonder the game was a close as it was. They'd shoot 4-23 from 3 in the second half.

Even with all that, the Lakers had a 7 point lead at the midway mark in the fourth. Unfortunately, the Clippers just showed a more effective, and disciplined, offense. The Lakers execution was difficult to watch down the stretch.

AD and LBJ were a combined 17-41 from the field, and more importantly:

3-18 from 3 (16%)

Not going to beat a team playing like that.

If there's any silver lining: Clean up the 3 shooting (or turn some of those 3 attempts into higher percentage possessions), Lakers win the game.

1 game in loss column, unless Nuggets can lose tonight...I'm hoping your prediction remains true!

Too late now, but in retrospect I wish LeBron and AD had both taken the last four games off. We would have lost anyway, but at least they would be rested and healthier.

Of course no way we could have known we were gonna lose all four games.

The clogged toilet offense but them hard in the 3rd and again down the stretch.

They were stagnant and took way too many 3s on a night when they weren’t falling.

They need movement in the offense and AD needs to get prime post position where he can spin either way and score easily. He’s getting the ball too far away from the hoop.

They need to remember that they have been winning games by dominating inside- not by chucking up 45 3s.

Refs are harder on the Lakers than any other team and it's not even close, humans have biases which is natural and I would bet my bottom dollar not a single ref is born and raised in L.A.
These clowns that any one of us could do a better job than secretly hate L.A. and angelenos ( even tho ironically most peeps here aren't from here).

Either that or the whole league is rigged to cater to a 13 year old viewer cause the product the NBA puts out and some of the calls are so devoid of logic I get dumber every time I watch this terrible league.

In my Opinion, of course...

Merry Christmas LG!

Need another player making guard. Rondo isn’t going to cut it. He has zero gravity. In a close game FTs are the difference if lebron is going to make plays he needs to make his FTs.

Crummy way to end my Christmas day, but in the grand scheme of things it isn't that big of a deal.

How is it that their pick n roll looked better, got Kawhi open jumpers or Zubac dunk... ours just led to the ball kicked back out to the 3pt line, what happened? We have the best pick n rolled in Bron-AD or Bron-JaVale/Dwight

Pat Beverley set the tone for the game from the jump when he kicked LBJ in the family jewels. Next time we play them Jared Dudley needs to get into the action for a few minutes.

Lakers had a prime opportunity to win this game and blew it.

Our big 3 all had good scoring games (Lebron with 23, AD with 24, Kuzma with 25).

Out bench outscored the Clippers bench which is supposed to be superior to the Lakers.

Lou Williams had an off night and Paul George was held to 17.

Lakers had more steals (11) and more blocks (10) than the Clippers.

As Dr Dent said, we fell in love with the 3 when they were not falling.

Sad,

Meh, the Lakers outplayed them for the majority of the game, so I would not stress too much. Would be an interesting 7 game series, that's for sure.

Seems we run our team ragged in the first half due to a weak bench,
then in the second half starters are bushed. We need a player or two
that can hold their own off the bench.

Garbage call

Quote:
3:29 Anthony Davis shooting foul 103 - 103
3:29 Lou Williams makes free throw 1 of 2 104 - 103
3:29 Lou Williams makes free throw 2 of 2 105 - 103

Garbage call

Quote:
2:30 Danny Green shooting foul 105 - 103
2:30 Kawhi Leonard makes free throw 1 of 2 106 - 103
2:30 Kawhi Leonard makes free throw 2 of 2 107 - 103

Garbage non-call (and 1) for the exact same foul Danny Green was called for.

Quote:
2:21 Anthony Davis makes 17-foot jumper 107 - 105

5 point swing handed to the Clippers in the last 3:30 minutes of the game.
