This looks about right. I don't think Ingram will make it because the Pelicans are so bad.

Hard to see them putting on three players from the Clippers when the west is so stacked with guards.

If this reason is valid for keeping Ingram off the all-star team then Beal shouldn't be there either. I think Kemba should be subbed in for Beal here anyway.

Beal has two advantages over Ingram.

Beal has already made two all-star teams. And before he made his first all-star team he had a full season where he put up 23 ppg. for a 49-win team. The coaches are more likely to vote for a guy on a bad team who has a strong track record than for someone like Ingram, who has only been doing it for half a season.

Also, there are more good western front guard guys than there are eastern guards.

I think Booker and Ingram make the all-star game for the first time this year. They got lucky with the absence of Curry and Klay.

It be difficult to justify the inclusion of Kyrie, Ingram and Tre honestly...(even maybe Jokic as well)....

He's a rookie and he would likely play in the rising stars game, so he should be there on AS Weekend and on a stage for many people to see.

There is no pressure for him to be in the AS game (or any rookie/sophomore for that matter) if they aren't voted into the AS game due to fan vote or their position being too stacked to make it on as a reserve.

PG is trying to out-load-manage Kawhi.

So any guesses how the draft will go?

I think LeBron wants Luka, but might feel obligated to pick AD first.

If that happens, I think Giannis will definitely snatch Luka up right away.

1) AD - LeBron
2) Luka - Giannis
3) Embiid - LeBron (locks that center position down)
4) Siakam - Giannis (since Embiid is gone, Siakam is the biggest guy left)
5) Trae - LeBron (his "fun" pick now that Luka is unavailable)
6) Kawhi - Giannis (doesn't seem to hold grudges, Kawhi is BPA)
7) Harden - LeBron (Harden will be picked late again, just like last year)
8) Kemba - Giannis (even though he's last, Giannis will be ecstatic to have him)
