So we have Jayson Tatum shooting under 40% on this list and Zach Lavine legit putting up worse numbers across the board than last year ahead of BI?! It’s becoming increasingly clear why our front office failed during his time with us.

Kawhi is a great player, but a dude sitting out key games against other top stars due to "load management" doesn't deserve an MVP in my book.

Agreed, it's a huge advantage to say the least.. It's like having bye weeks through the entire season

It's not fair to the guys out there pushing through the grind and still playing on certain nights when not 100% to help there teams try to get better Playoff seeding. It's all good if he wants to purposely dismiss a large chunk of the regular season to help put him in a fresher state for when the Playoff's start but that should instantly kill any chance at regular season awards.

On top of that even with tons of rest he's putting up very mediocre numbers so far like 4 to's a game, 30% on three and 43% overall.. I get he probably did not want to put two Lakers before a Clipper but as of now AD is drastically outplaying Kawhi if you consider both sides of the ball.

His old ex-teammate Siakam should be up a few spots as well.. He's putting up much better numbers across the board and helping the Raptors over achieve so far. I will say the drop off is pretty steep after AD on that list from what i've seen so far this season though.

I don't think Magic has seen most of those guys play this season. Has he really seen any Portland or Washington games to determine the value of Lillard vs Beal?

He's probably watched them on TV, like most everyone else.

I'd say the percentage of NBA fans that watched any Wizards games this season is very low, and Magic isn't one of those people. Magic probably looked at records and some stats and made a pointless, arbitrary list.

After Embiid's 0pt effort, Magic needs to cut him from that list.

I have Beal at 15 on my top 17 list.

The order of his Top 5 seems solid, at least.

I don't know what Magic is thinking to not have Butler on that list. He is the main reason for Miami's turnaround and Pascal is higher than #9, imo.

Let’s revisit... not too bad of a list now, Kyrie obvious injury omission, the top-10 look kinda OK

The MIP, BI for sure should be a candidate but Doncic should be #1 on its list
