Keep the Kobe vs Lebron arguments in that thread. Otherwise either side will be considered trolling in this thread. How many warnings do you want before we just start suspending people? Again, I don't care if you're pro-LBJ or pro-Kobe or anti-LBJ or anti-Kobe, it's all annoying trolling and doesn't belong here.

This is sorely needed. Thanks!

Yep.
Good investment.

What else you gonna spend that money on if not an mvp?

His longevity is insane.

KL (age 28): 14.6k minutes.
LBJ (age 34): 46.6k minutes.

Whose body holds up better the next 2 seasons?

Again, the Kobe vs. LBJ thread was created to keep trolls like you out of this thread with your Bryant takes.

Never?

You must be a new Laker fan...

Year 17:

Year 19:

LeBron’s had plenty of games with high turnovers, as well.
What is your damn point?

But to pick out 1 good game Kobe had in a year which he was fading fast to imply we've seen this level before at this age is a bit disingenuous. Kobe played 35 games and shot 37% that year. He was done.

I never implied any such thing.

LBJ is like that classic car that you have is well maintained and still runs well and is great to look at.

KL is like a new and awesome car coming off a lease but now is running into a host of mechanical issues.

Actually I am dumping on Lebron’s effort last season that was less than optimal. Try to keep up.

The fact that the Lakers missed the playoffs last year with LeBron remains more of an indictment of the Lakers previous front office and coaching staff than it does LBJ himself. LeBron played so hard for us that he tore his groin and came back before it fully healed. He wasn't half-assing it, the franchise was incompetent.

We have a real coaching staff and real teammates and all of a sudden LeBron is playing like the best player in the world again.

Nah dude. Much respect to you for being a long time Lakers fan but you literally suck the joy out of LG and the Lakers with your takes.

We must have been watching different games last year.
LeBron was uninspired at best. Completely indifferent at worst.
Just a terrible leader last season on all fronts.

So far this year, different story. Don’t whitewash the past, though. It happened

Disagree completely. He challenges many assumptions.
I assume you just want a site where everyone quotes each other’s posts and never voices differing opinions.
How boring

Lebron needed that extended off season to get his body in good shape again. Don't see how anyone could be upset that Lebron didn't take the Lakers to the playoffs when the advantages this year have been so very clear

They call him the Goat. Last season’s effort is inexcusable. Fans have got to stop bending over backward to defend him in this instance.

This year, he’s bringing it. Kudos to him for that.
