So in HS our JV used to practice against our varsity. So in that same vein, does SB ever practice or scrimmage with the LA Lakers?

Not as a team but a few individual players go up and or down from team to team at the discretion of the FO (training camp, 10-day contract, rehab, work-out, etc).

I have a feeling we’re going to end up moving THT in some peripheral move that makes us marginally better in the short term, and end up really regretting it 3 years from now.

He’s only 18 but he’s smooth as hell out there. Good defender too.

Rich Paul got THT a two year guaranteed deal at a pick in the high 40’s while Tucker was still hurt. I think he’s safe

After emptying the cupboard for AD and cap space, I would hold on to THT, Norvell and Cacock. We need the cost controlled depth.

THT already looks like he can be a contributor. Cacock is that live body similar to Harrell where his game is simple enough to contribute too.

THT is untouchable imo he looks legit. Has that old man game that will be frustrating teams for 10+ years

Those 3 along with Kostas make a pretty good lil group. All young and play well defiantly keep them around, could all have a role on this team for the future

Now if GP3 the Mitten or Stockton can develop into a serviceable point, we have a team (or second unit of the future).

That said, what do you all see as their ceilings?

THT and Kostas could be starters?

Cacock and Norvell solid rotation pieces?

Now, on to a back up PG...

Zach Norvell has rejoined the Lakers as part of his two-way contract. He is expected to be with the team for their game against the Kings tonight.

I'm watching the game online rn, it's available to replay on South Bay's NBA website.. He's making some defensive plays I like.. He's not a lockdown style defender, but he knows how to use his hands for steals and also tries to get blocks in transition...and is a willing helper contesting/doubling in the paint.
A couple beautiful outlet pass assists.
He did just have a nice 1v1 defensive possession where he guarded a shooting guard initiating out at 45ft, got really low in a stance, bothered him with some reaches, stayed with him while he drove..was encouraging
