It’s stupid to think because he “died” he gets out, but it’s pretty extreme to work off the idea of retribution and revenge as punishment. And the idea of incarceration is not suffering. It’s loss of freedom. Part of the reason we have such high recidivism along with high initial crime rates is our atavism. _________________ “We must always take sides.
