Ingram has looked terrible so far tonight. Lonzo and Zion appear to have great chemistry already.

Either BI or Lonzo will end up going to the bench in favor of one of their shooters.

Zion is so effortless man. 29 pts on 12/13. The real deal. I hope the Pelicans develop him well for us.

Zion + AD?

Zion on a rookie contract..geez

Can you imagine if we actually won the 1st pick? In that case, it would have been Lonzo, Bi, Hart, Kuzma.. and whatever for AD. I'm sure Pelicans would have insisted on Zion, we may have folded and gave up Zion too.

That's the team I wanted LAL to be. I get it that there's no established superstars outside of Zion and possibly Jrue, but that team is a WEALTH of high end talent on both ends of the floor, and easy to trade/mold around Zion when necessary.

Large window.

Lonzo’s shot looks much better. That defense, I miss that.

This game feels more like a playoff game than a preseason game.

I think if we had somehow won the #1 pick, you still wouldn't get that team. I think push comes to shove, Pelinka would have given the Pelicans the #1 pick. Maybe we would have kept Josh Hart and some swaps.

I don't agree with how Pelinka runs teams.

I do, with how Jerry West does. He never seemed the type for IMMEDIATE championships, but rather, ridiculously long championship windows, even to the point of trading veterans for lottery picks.

But honestly, if the current Pelicans were the actual Lakers, I would not be mad. Now we're talking 1996-ish Lakers, brink of the playoffs, with plenty of room to grow and trade pieces to improve.

I watched the NBA TV preview of the Pelicans and I think that once January rolls around their second unit will dominate other team’s second units.

Opening night. Pelicans leading the Raptors midway through the 2nd quarter 49-43. BI with 7pts, Ball with 4 asst, Hart with 5pts off the bench.

BI looks like his injury didn't affect him too much. He and Lonzo both made their free throws.

If Zion comes back healthy, I think this group can make the playoffs, although it's hard to tell what Toronto will be without Kawhi and Danny.

Playing on a minimum deal for 2 straight years as a #3 pick will sober you quick.

JJ can hit those shots in his sleep, then draw the charge on Pascal.
