I blame jet lag. |
They've been there a few days. |
You only caught the last 3 minutes though. Keep in mind who he's paired with. |
Understood - but I also saw who has was paired against. |
The Nets lineup down the stretch had significantly more talent than ours. |
DeAndre Jordan blocked the hell out of us the last few minutes... |
And Pinson/Nwaba are defensive specialists. Having Cacok out there at C against Jordan really hurt the offense, as well. |
Plus Kurucs and Taurean Prince before he fouled out. They had a real lineup out there. We had the SBL. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Not a thrilling game to watch, for the most part. AD and Javale looked good out there.
One of the few things I liked about this game is that Vogel said we'll be switching lineups, which means we won't see this starting lineup next game.
I also like that they played in front of a crowd. Great to see. |
The McGee and Davis pairing is a real strength of the team. We'll see if Howard can help keep McGee fresh all season.
Bradley's looking more like his Clippers days than his Boston days so far. There's really no consistent scorer among that perimeter group, which could lead to a lot of shuffled lineups throughout games and throughout the season trying to find the hot hand. _________________ Under New Management |

IMO its gonna be a revolving door at that spot. |

Exactly. And that 20-year-old kid Musa has legit NBA rotation upside. The Nets are deep and they're going to be a problem in the EC even without Durant.
I'm hoping that last quick stretch to tie up the game gives Norvell a confidence boost. He can be a legit NBA rotation player down the line, but he's trying to fit in more than stand out right now. Conversely, Jackson and Cacok are career G-Leaguers. _________________ Under New Management |

I acknowledge that the Nets had more incentive to win (Chinese owner) and had starters on the floor. I just didn't like AC's decision making late. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

They made mistakes and poor decisions but the effort and hustle was there and i appreciate them for that!
Nwaba on this team would have been nice! We need an athletic 2/3 to run, jump and harrass people.. |
Corey Brewer? |
Might be washed. |
Maybe so.
But the description seemed to be for that type of player. |

I think there's a difference between a player "trying to do too much" and trying to create offense because he realizes he's the only viable threat in the lineup. That was the case with Caruso IMO. Although (in hindsight) I think Norvell should've gotten some touches down the stretch therem _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. Any team that shoots and makes that many FT's and threes (20/40), as BK did, is going to be hard to beat....I'm surprised we were even that close. |

Teams just can't handle our interior D. Our perimeter D sucks (so far), though |

I didn't watch game, but I noticed a lot of our guys taking the layup instead of dunking it...does that have to do with being tired/jetlagged? |

Tired/jet lagged didn’t stop the Nets from bombing from 3. That’s a roster well constructed for today’s game. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I've been wanting to see this option for stretches:
AD, Kuz, LeBron, Green, Cook |
