I haven't yet reviewed it past the highlights, but there's a publicly available research report that claims that GE has committed financial fraud on a magnitude that exceeds Enron.

No sure if or how this plays into this but GE (along with 17 other corporations) paid no federal income tax from 2008-2015, according to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy--Wikipedia lists them as non-partisan though the Wall Street Journal calls them a liberal-leaning think tank. (Too often, I've heard something is called liberal leaning, when all it means is that it might offer some criticism of something Republican's cherish without question.) _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

It is not only the WSJ that correctly recognizes ITEP as a liberal think tank.....they are universally considered left leaning at a minimum. |
