Lol The usage rate of these two has been 1-2 in the league. Should at least be entertaining for a bit.

Presti must already have a taker on Paul with that awful contract, as they’re in full rebuild mode in OKC

Unbelievable that the Rockets were able to unload Paul. He was the most untradeable player in the league. Presti should have gotten another 1st.

This is such a high risk move for the Rockets, and it has the potential to become really ugly.

Westbrook is such a bad outside shooter that I wonder how he'll be effective when Harden does what he does and pounds the ball for 10-15 seconds

With Golden State our of the picture, I would’ve waited if I were the Rockets. With GS, this would’ve been their 2nd NBA Finals in 2 years at least

At worse, this is sort of like AI/Melo all over again

Wow. This has an extremely high probability of being a major dumpster fire. Two guys who demand the ball, two guys that need to be the main focus offensively, two guys who are highly inefficient shooters. This could be fun to watch.

I am also shocked anyone would trade for Chris Paul

The drama of the NBA offseason is better than most scripted TV shows. Its why I actually find it more entertaining than the actual games.

I can't go offline even for a couple hours.

Regardless I don't see this working out nearly as well as it did on OKC for one there was Durant. The other is back then Harden came off the bench. That won't be the case here. I'm also not sure if D'Antoni can make it work either

He has too otherwise CP3 is done -- on second thought he's done anyways

Westbrook has some untradebale contrakt as well, so I guess this is acceptable. I do doubt that the Rocket's team chemistry gets better though. And I don't think Chris Paul likes to be in OKC.

I love this move and i'm glad that the Rockets are bold enough to do somethig like this, yes it can become really ugly, but it also can become really good.

Either way, it's better to have Westbrook next to Harden than to go once again with CP3, at least he's younger and i think it's going to be fun watching those two reuniting after playing together in Oklahoma.

How nice of the Rockets to make CP3 the Thunder's problem. They got a truckload of draft picks and no point in having CP3 play for them.

Someone needs to start a "Where will Chris Paul go?" thread.

This is probably the craziest offseason in recent NBA history.

We've now seen every possible combination of Westbrook with just one of his original two OKC superstar teammates.

Westbrook/Harden/Durant
Westbrook/Durant
Westbrook/Harden

OKC now has none of its original trio left.

Pretty odd to me how quickly both of these guys, especially Westbrook, went from being among the most coveted players in the league to becoming untradeable players who nobody wanted.
