Sup with people wanting to injure others to bring notice to their suffering?
And when a parent feels this.. please call the police
Quote: | His brother said Peoples had shown signs of post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from Iraq and had at one point been hospitalized for psychiatric issues. The brother said that their mother had spoken to Isaiah the day before the attack and said he seemed about to have “another one of those episodes.” |
A war veteran who had been hospitalized for pyschiatric issues is having another one of those days... How many are out there suffering like this man

Quote: | Vets shouldn't be dying in a VA parking lot
Existing mental health services for vets are clearly insufficient. From 2001 to 2014, vet suicides have jumped 32 percent. The problem is only going to get worse.
Too many VA facilities simply don't have enough staff to provide personalized care. Therapists are badly outnumbered and vets are hurried through their offices.
Sometimes, staffing shortages force facilities to simply turn vets away, leading to the grotesque phenomenon of desperate soldiers killing themselves on VA grounds.
One 51-year-old Persian Gulf War veteran set himself on fire in front of a New Jersey VA clinic after a canceled appointment (Vet set himself on fire after long VA waits, appointment cancellation, investigation finds). Another veteran shot himself in the waiting room of a VA medical center. A 76-year-old vet shot himself in the parking lot of his Long Island VA facility because "he went to the ER and was denied service," as a hospital employee explained to The New York Times.

He hoped the people he ran over were Muslims
Didn't get enough kills in the war?
Let's hope he wasn't a MAGAman
Was the synagogue killer a MAGAman? |

PTSD needs to be moved to a higher priority. I can only imagine what happens to a person who actually knew he took a life. It has to play on the psyche _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. |
