Haha at duckface. Hate that silliness. Media is trying to make it seem like we only now have Social Darwinism due to iphones. Truth is that there is a yearly sum of Social Darwinism cases related to cliffs and ledges by themselves (including people named Cliff who die stupidly and/or fall off a cliff). These cliff deaths here come only a couple weeks after tourists festooned the Grand Canyon with their guts. Then you have to consider all the members of the gun, auto, drug, and ladder/balcony categories. I recall a mom on TV a few years back whose son took a drunken plop off of a hotel balcony during Spring Break in the 80s and she was talking about seeing the same cases happen year by year no matter how long she had publicly preached for the awareness of kids, parents, venues.
Sad, but true -- Darwin always gets to eat. No one can stop him from pulling off his yearly quota of premature deaths. He's like Biden. He likes young ones the best.
