Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills and Washington Wizards forward Devin Robinson were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for fighting outside a Washington nightclub early Saturday, D.C. police confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.
According to Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officer Karimah Bilal, Robinson and Mills engaged in a verbal dispute outside the Opera Ultra Lounge in the downtown area around 3 a.m. ET, before things escalated into a physical altercation on the sidewalk.
Both the Washington Wizards and Philadelphia Eagles organizations acknowledged the situations through statements.
Robinson and Mills were both detained overnight Saturday in the second district department. Robinson was originally taken to a D.C. area hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.

Mills missed a good chunk of 2018 after suffering a foot injury. Robinson, who's played for the NBA G League's Capital City Go-Go the past two seasons, missed the last two months of the season treating a hip injury.
The Wizards said in their statement to The Washington Post that Robinson's two-year contract will not be extended for the 2019-20 season now. |
