The issue is that Lonzo has missed 30+ games 2 years in a row.

BI has missed 20+ games 2 years in a row.

LBJ is getting older and had his worst career injury.

Injuries definitely have to improve. Ball and BI have to play 70 games at least...LBJ takes really good care of his body so I'm not so concerned about him. With his injury, he basically did the splits....you could be 20 and the injury would've been the same.

Here's the problem though.

A deep playoff run will be 100+ games.

Lonzo hasn't been able to play 55 games a season yet, and BI has missed a lot of games too. Durability is key to a long run, especially if these two are key cogs.

LeBron, Kuzma, Ingram, Ball only played 23 games together.

They were ranked 4th in defense, 7th in offense, and were on pace to win 53 games this season which would’ve been good for at least 3rd seed in West.

Crazy how the injury bug has hit us hard this season.

Thanks for the post...youre 100% right. That's why I'm optimistic in the off season, even if we just add Butler as the 2nd star. Then round out the roster with a few more shooters and a decent big to go with McGee.

With what money? Other than McGee, our FO couldn't find a single worthwhile shooter or big with 29 mil. They're gonna do it with all minimum salaries? Hard to get those ring chasers when your team didn't even make playoffs.

Because of injuries...Yeah I think if the team consists of:

Bron
Butler
McGee
Ball
BI
Hart
Kuz
Caruso
Wagner

You can round off the roster with players like Carroll, Stauskas, Trey Burke, Ellington, Gerald Green, Bullock, Markieff Morris, Troy Daniels, Alec Burks....players like this with the exceptions and small contracts. I believe it can be done...if you disagree...fine...lets see what happens.
