Zubac has turned into a big tough guy since being traded to the Clippers

Notice how Zubac led the Clippres in defeating the lowly Lakers tonight?

Naw, neither did I.

Get over it.

Zubac is a talented player but some people get way to butt hurt about the trade, it was kinda ironic that Muscala actually had more Impact on the game then Zu lol

You mean guys that find it necessary to post threads like this? Muscala finally has a single game where his impact is actually noteworthy and now it's time to put Zu in his place? What a joke. Zu has every right to feel slighted by the Lakers. It was an ignorant trade that literally served no purpose other than to expose how clueless our FO can be when they really put their minds to it.

So, Zu isn't allowed to speak his mind? Is he wrong saying that the Clippers are playing better basketball this season? What exactly was wrong with anything Zu had to say? He didn't choose to become a Clipper this season. It would be wise to remember that.

Just like he has the right to talk bad aboout lakers we have the right to rub it in his face when the lakers beat a team thats been running their mouth all season

Actually that is embarrassing when you are ready for your 6th straight lottery. When beating the Clippers is a good reason to beat your chest you know things suck.

No one will care about zubac if we pick up a second star this offseason. If we dont then well its probably time to move on from jeanie magic and Pelinka maybe even LBJ.

We will find out this summer

We could sign 3 star players and it won’t change the fact that our FO decided to give away another young asset for nothing.

Well its not like we could of re-signed him if we are going for another max contract.

But even if we could I dont really care for Zubac's game as much as other on this site. To me he will never be more than a bench/role player so It doesnt change my view of the FO. I was a little excited to see him improve but thats about it.

Wish Zubac nothing but the best. I’d resign him in the offseason if we could.

Having watched Zubac play almost every Clip game since the trade, I can see why he was traded.

Poor, clumsy footwork. Limited offensive game; baby hooks, when he can get them, and alley oops off pick and rolls. No outside shot. Limited defensive presence. Not a great passer.

Yes, he has a few good games with us, but so has Caruso. NBA players are going to have good games, but as far as his proposition in being a quality NBA Center, I don't see it, and he's entering his 6th NBA season next season.

I seriously doubt that the Clippers will keep him on their roster.

And this is the problem with the eye test. The eyes are only as good as the interpretation of what they see.

What, you think Zubac came into the league at age 16?

Zubac is 21 years old and he is currently in his 3rd season.

Yes, you are correct. My mistake.

We could win an NBA title and I’m sure you’d still be leading that charge. If we got Kawhi and AD (all big (bleep) if’s) no one can say (bleep) about Magic anymore. The truth is though, I don’t see this happening, so we are left with the mistakes he’s made.

Again: the problem is not Zubac (the player) getting traded.
Is how the deal was made and what we got back.

Muscala has been playing better then Zu in the past 4-5 games if it makes you feel any better.

What kills me is the fan who doesn't realize that Zu had a 3 yr audition with the Lakers to improve himself and the team. He did neither. The Guy no showed more nights than showed up to contribute. There comes a time where you have to give up on potential and realize all you have is a scrub. We traded scrub for scrub, with the hope the scrub we get back would better fit our team. We needed Shooting, but remember we got back a scrub for our scrub. Even trade, no one got beat. Bum for a Bum.

No, he hasn't. He's been hitting some threes of late, but the rest of his game is awful.

I was impressed with his hustle on d last night...running hard to stop the ball in transition and a couple of key box outs ...best overall game yet fwiw

no handles/passing that I've seen...I haven't noticed his screens...not sure if thats' good or bad

So you haven’t been impressed with his interior defense? I feel like he’s done a good job with the hustle and effort, I know he isn’t coming back next year but he has done some good things in these past few games.

Totally agreed. At least draft picks are more valuable than MM.

No, I haven't been impressed with his interior defense, which is some activity and not much in the way of results. He's a mediocre three shooter, and does really nothing else at the level of a rotation player.

We did. His name isn’t Zu though.
