Stupid turnover off the in bounds play. He also had a chance to ice the game with that three over Caruso. Would’ve been a good ending for him

The passes he was making this game were beautiful. This dude is ridiculous with the vision.

Tragic Johnson has set this franchise back for years.

21/13 won't probably be a top 10 game for DLO this season. Amazing progression in only his 4th year.

Based on the eye test the dude makes far better halfcourt passes than Lonzo. Those things are a beauty to watch.

I get why they get compared, but I hate it. Could've had both. They both bring a lot to the table. The FO did everything to make sure people knew Lonzo was their guy and he's much better than Dlo.

Russell once again came out looking like the mature one by saying he has no problem with Lonzo. People made it out to be something that it's not. He doesn't know Lonzo and that has nothing to with him.

When you are a scoring threat like DLo, half court passing also becomes easier. 2nd year DLO was't close to this level in decision making either.

Yeah I'm a huge Lonzo fan so I'm not trying to throw him under the bus or anything. I think their skillsets would have been highly complimentary. But I'm happy that DLO is in a far better situation for him now.

Lonzo was going to be the fast break PG and DLO would handle running the half court.

We could have had an emerging top backcourt for the next 7-8 years.

D'Angelo: "[The Lakers are] the type of organization that will trade you to bring in what they want ... To come to a situation and opportunity like Brooklyn, where the coach and players could possibly be around for a while, that's the best thing you can ask for in this league. "

Nets remaining schedule is brutal.

Blazers, 76ers, Celtics, Bucks, Raptors, Bucks, Pacers, Heat.

They need to win three at least to be relatively safe.

But he showed flashes of it, and all he really needed was some experience and to improve his reads and angles and acclimate to the league. Everything he’s doing you saw at OSU, and there was nothing indicating he wasn’t going to be able to get there in this league.

Sure. It was just the matter of him gaining experience as PG is the toughest spot to learn at NBA level. And the way NBA has evolved in last 2 seasons, sky is the limit with DLo's skillset.

DLo was not making those skip passes to the corner 2 years ago.

One of the videos that cemented DLO as a draft prospect for me was this highlight reel of his passes/court vision at OSU:

The way that defenses defend Lonzo is completely different than how they defend Russell. They try to stay home and make Lonzo score on them, where it's mostly the opposite with Russell. So there are different passing lanes available.

Which would have made it beautiful to defenses getting confused trying to guard both. Freaking Magic man! UGH

^ that is why Russell talks about consistency and the roster sticking together with guys that will be around for a while.

Jim and Mitch were going in that direction.

Rob and Magic aren't.

Was looking at Nets schedule, brutal. They could easily go 0-8 closing out the season and miss the playoffs.
