Y’all hear about the Ferguson stuff?

Sending my best to their family

I am certain this publicity will open his eyes to the good he has in his life

That's about all there is these days. It's not about who's using so much as it is who's getting popped (Cue Nate Diaz steroid take lol).

Interesting point a couple fighters have made (Aljamain Sterling being one) referencing Cody Garbrandt calling out TJ for being on them during one of their pre-fight press conferences and how it sort of flew by undetected. Cody even said that TJ had taught the Team Alpha Male how to use.

On one hand, the case that PED's should just be legalized is becoming far more compelling to me since artificial enhancement has been a part of sports for decades. I just can't bring myself to adopt or agree with that idea as it relates to combat sports. Just can't. Even though it's being done rampantly I just can't.

I’m in the same boat as you GtR. We gotta keep fighting it for moral reasons. But I’m pretty much assuming all of the fighters on it lol. Some of these guys bodies are unreal

He was getting tooled up to that superman punch. Wonderboy probably wins that matchup 9 times out of 10.

Wonderboy can at least say it took a Superman punch to beat him

Props to Pettis though

I highly respected his concern for his opponent after his victory.
That is a big part of what allows me to respect this sport

I've always had a soft spot for Pettis, so really enjoyed that.

Wonderboy definitely used his range well for most of the fight, but what I will give Pettis is that he took the shots, and he also did a great job with the leg kicks, then once an opening arrived he closed the show in devastating fashion.

Looking forward to see who they give him next, would be dope if it was McGregor.

It makes sense he would retire. He is filthy rich thanks to the Floyd fight. He can get out before he takes too much damage. And maybe before he takes more losses on his record.

Do I expect him to come out of retirement in the future if Dana calls with a big money fight? Probably. It's also not out of the question that this is some kind of negotiation ploy by Conor.

I think this is what it is. He pulled the same stunt in 2016. Of course, if he's not bluffing, he's set for life without fighting again thanks to Floyd, as you mentioned.

I think for Conor if he does fight again he has to be really careful about the opponent. One more loss and his stardom wanes, people start to realize that his name outweighs his game.

Always thought he was more hype than end product. I still think he got a lucky punch on Aldo, then built his name on hype and beating Eddie Alvarez who is arguably the worst champion i've ever seen.

Conor can't really come back to 155 because he isn't in Khabib's league, and at 170 the size and power at the top end of the division starts to get a bit much for him.

Exactly my sentiments about his abilities... plus..
The Drive that we are seeing from current fighters is not something Connor wants to try to reproduce

In my opinion when he was thinking about fighting Cerrone..
that didn't sound like a Champions spirit..
Cerrone isn't a threat to anynones belt.. great guy .. great fighter.. etc..

I feel there is a part of Connor that recognizes he is a Father.. .
and this latest incident in Florida.. is putting his life into perspective..
Does he want to go to prison/jail etc.. sure he has million.. but some
courts are against people like him who have a bad track record of
injuring innocent people *fighters in that bus had glass in their eye and couldn't compete...

I think he has enough cash to choose a better future for his family. Not that fighting is a bad future if it is your spirits choice but..
He has ego problems that come with /from having to keep up his
"name/fame etc" that will soon enough separate him from his family...

His whiskey is probably going to make him more money than fighting and by leaps and bounds in a few years.

Agree with y’all. Negotiating ploy but he also genuinely doesn’t need to fight again. And he is not championship caliber as fighter IMO

Less than 8, 9 years ago.
Connor was on welfare.
That’s how far he’s come money wise.

He lives to fight.
However he needs to max out his value while he still can.

The sexual assault stuff better be false.
It never ceases to amaze me how many married athletes with new borns/really young kids can’t keep their pecker in their pants or at the very least out to share it only with paid partners who are entering a business relationship. Just way too risky outside of that.

At 36 years old, maybe it's time to drop the WonderBOY nickname.

I mean it's been 19 years since he was 17 (and a an actual "boy")...

How about:

WonderLick

WonderMan

WonderWhatHappened

Still Wondering

Bahahahah!! Cold blooded lol

Gaethje with another brutal KO.

Call me crazy and he’ll prob get mauled but I would like to see him fight khabib. I think khabib might be just cocky enough to exchange with Justin which could spell disaster.

MM looked good in his OneFC debut. So did his opponent. Alvarez....ouch

This is the most unforgiving game in major pro sports.
