Obviously anyone would be willing to wear Lebrons and Kobes, but do you find it sacrilege to wear anyone's shoes who aren't on/have never been on the Lakers? There's a time and place for being your own person, doing what you want, not caring what others think, etc, but to some this just might not be realistic especially in a context as important as basketball shoes.

Thoughts?

not sure I understand....everyone has worn Jordan's, right? I would not wear most basketball shoes in a fashion or casual sense because most are horrific looking and appear to be designed for a 13 year old....but I have a few pairs of Jordan's for when I play pickup games. I would not have an issue wearing any of those other signature shoes to play pickup basketball on the weekend.

I'd go for the best fit at the cheapest price. Wouldn't care a bit if it had a Lakers name, a non-Lakers name or no name. It could be an Al Pacino shoe, for all I care.

well yeah I'm talking about pickup games

and I think Jordans are different because he's no longer playing plus he's the GOAT

I'm moreso talking about like Kyries especially and also PGs considering he didn't even take a damn meeting with us

could you ever bring yourself to wear a Celtics' player's shoes or someone who pooped on us's shoes? that's the tough question this poll poses

Kyrie's are pretty comfy, but nothing like Kobe's. I swear those are the most comfortable shoes in the world.

if they were comfortable, and the less expensive option....yeah, I do not think it would even cross my mind whose signature shoe it was at my age. I am just not a shoe guy, so that is probably a big part of it.

I don't wear bball shoes, but I'd only rock Kobes

The Kobes from 5 to 8 were the most beautiful basketball shoes ever

Chuck's are timeless and they look even better when they're beat.

Judging by half the dumb stuff people say on here makes believe most people don’t play basketball nor have ever played.

Air monarchs is probably the shoe of choice for most 😂

And to answer your question, there isn’t anything wrong with wearing a non-Laker player’s shoes. Jordan wasn’t a Laker, everyone wears Jordans.

Jerseys are a different story.. I wouldn’t wear another teams jersey cuz obviously it shows the team name on it and could make someone believe that you’re a team hopper.

Joel Embiid is my only exception. As an Embiid stan, I gotta rock his jersey here and there.

I'm more of a throwback jersey guy now. Been rocking Magic and Shaq's Orlando jersey most recently.

I guess Kobe's counts too now

I have and will continue to wear other players shoes. I have worn lots of Jordans in the past and I currently own a pair of KD's that I purchased on sale. However, I was rocking the Kobe's heavy a few years ago.
