I'm a 19 year season ticket holder and for years my tickets went up 2 dollars a ticket each year. That was up until 2 years ago they went up 4 dollars a ticket. This year they increased by $10! Kinda ridiculous. |

$10? Try $19 for me, which is a 15% increase.

9 year Season ticket holder here.
Mine went up $10 this year
$5 last year
Depends on your perspective? 1st world problems
Not a huge deal if you sell some? They easily went resale $10 more than face value this year. More likely $100 over face value at the least.
I mean in other years I could not even give away my pre season tickets...would probably have to pay someone to take them lol.
This year my 2 pre season tickets sold for $25 over face value.
Keep in mind we have to front the money or do 12 month payment plan for season tickets and it is well over $10,000 for the season with my seats. But with some resale it all evens out. |

Are they already sending out renewals for next season? Price increases since Magic took over have been outrageous. I believe they brought in a whole new analytics team (no idea if they replaced their business operations group at the same time) that reviewed market conditions and adjusted prices accordingly, which does make sense from their perspective, but not from ours as season ticket holders. Guess at some point we'll hit equilibrium on the price scale but considering the product they've been putting out (no playoffs and sub 500 basketball in multiple seasons in a row), I'm less and less inclined to renew every year. |

Please do then I can upgrade my seating location. Wasn’t able to last year because near 99% renewal rate. |

Hah you won't get an upgrade if you go into my seats (last row)..But yeah that's why I'm on the fence each year. Also just saw the price change.
$51/ticket for near center Court last row. Was $43 this year, 37 the year prior and 34 prior to that. Team payroll nor performance has improved to justify that. |

Near center court, I would keep those for ever. But if you do not renew that is good for me so I can get closer to center court. |

It's a joke that the 300 level seats are going up 25% as we miss the playoffs for the 6th straight season!! |

Guess they’ve found a way to make-up that lost playoff revenue as well as the rebates to TWC/Spectrum (terms of the that tv deal for failing to make the post-season) these last few years. |

I had season seats for a number of years in the 300 level (dead center) for both the Lakers and the Clippers.... fortunately for me, this was during the Shaq/Kobe era and the Clippers were young and exciting (Odom, Brand, Miles, etc.)
If my seats were going up 25% after a season like this years.... I'd be livid.
(bleep) that. |

Nothing lasts forever, and Jeanie Buss and her employees would do well to remember that. The memories of the good ol' days will only carry them so far. They need to put a team on the floor that the fans can get behind and believe in. It's been a number of years now since that's been the case.
Been a Lakers fan since 1968. I don't live in LA (I live on the other coast) but have traveled there numerous times since the 1980s and paid a pretty penny on a number of occasions to watch them play at the Forum and Staples Center.
I haven't seen anything since Kobe retired that would motivate me to do that right now.
Raising prices on season ticket holders when the product sucks isn't sustainable, so it might be good if the product stops sucking sometime in the not too distant future. |

It's the Lebron tax. The Lakers may not be good at winning games but they are still very good at finding ways to increase their profits. At least Jeanie is good at something. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

I’m 2200. Please cancel so the renewal rate can decrease. I’ve been targeting this upcoming season for my season tickets. |

Ticket price should go down 10%, since we shoot free throws about 10% under league average. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |
