if we get to play thunder or blazers in the first round, we win no question

Warriors - likely loss
Denver - not too confident due to their three point shooting
Houston - kinda tough

we need to get 3-6 seed and I think we'd be solid

For sure we would!

How much credit does Luke deserve for benching the whole starting squad which turned everything around. Luke made some boss moves tonight and the team responded.

Yeah but BI doesn’t need to score for us to win. PG does for OKC. I’ll take it.

Great win especially for the young guys! Progress doesn't happen in a straight line as evidenced by the Cavs game, but this was a big step forward. OT win on the road against a good team.

Zu should be our starting center, or should have been getting groomed to be our starting center.

Why if Luke was going to bench McGee he decided to start Chandler and not Zu, I don't know. But Zu has all the tools to be fantastic for us as starting center, and those screens of his are money!

Zo didn't foul Russ in the act, you're being intellectually dishonest to yourselves if you think otherwise.
You should be ashamed.
Embarrassing, Mr Mcgoo type of stuff here.

While I agree with you that he wasn't in the act, Lonzo still made that way too close. There was just no reason to foul him that late. They should have fouled him when he was still 40 feet from the basket. The time was of no real consequence, at that point. Just take the foul. Don't make it close at all.

I don't understand the strategy of fouling to prevent a 3 point shot. Players almost never make those panicked three pointers and even if they do, the worst case scenario is a tie game where you get the ball back for the final shot.

There are arguments for and against, but I am of the belief that you foul in that situation. But you can't cut it close. Commit to it and just take the foul, if that's the strategy, especially when there were only a few seconds left and they are out of timeouts. As soon as he got the pass around midcourt, take the foul.

Keep in mind that the thunder were out of timeouts, so they wouldn't have been able to advance the ball. Probably factored into the strategy.

Tim Thomas says hi.

That type of play is why I hate the strategy. They make the 1st free throw and then tip out the miss for a Tim Thomas shot and you can actually LOSE a game like that.

Is it really fouling to prevent a three though? I thought it was more, make them pass it out with less time at halfcourt, because they didnt have any timeouts.

In theory the shot would be more rushed?

Im not even saying I disagree with you.

Nice win but my DVR cut out recording it 1/2 way through and I did watch it live. Is there anywhere I can catch the replay since it was on TNT??? Gotta see this game!
