MUST WIN GAME!! ..... I'll be there
FYI: "About last night @ Staples: AD edition"
Quote: | I went to the Clippers vs NOLA game tonight since AD, Julius & Jrue were in town. (Sat a row or two up behind the NOLA bench).
Apparently I wasn't the only Laker fan in the house because there was a spattering of "Come to LA AD" yells from various parts of the crowd.
I have seen AD live a few times and he always delivers. AD is easily one of the top 5 players in the league.
For a man his size AD can do it all, inside, outside, rebound & defend.
He roasted the Clippers for 46 points, 16 rebounds. He drained a late trey and made all four FT's to closeout the Clippers.
CLUTCH performance by AD and the Pelicans. Jrue did not disappoint either.
Julius Randle's return to Staples was well received by the crowd. He was very impressive tonight.
JR was in full beast mode from start to finish (27 points, 6 rebs, 5 assists, 3 steals). He is turning into a stud. I wish we had been able to keep Jules. |

Must win game but wont be shocked if bulls blow us out tbh. Their record sucks but Lavine/Lauri/Portis/Dunn/Wendall carter are better than Cleve and NYK rosters which embarrassed us |

Yeah record doesn’t tell full story. The Bulls roster has a lot more talent than the Cavs or Knicks. Yikes. |

IMO we show some pride and grit at home tonight. We should win. BUT anything can happen.
If we lose tonight we will probably need to shake things up before the trade deadline or we are done. |

Won't be surprised if this game follows the script of every crappy loss this season. Slow start, multiple attempts to get the deficit down to 4-5 points, can't get over the hump since they can't make free throws or open 3s, ultimately one of Zion Williamson & RJ Barrett's future team's long losing streak is finally over. |

There are a lot of bench guys I've never heard of on the Bulls roster but with LeBron out, the Bulls top 5 vs the Lakers top 5 is probably pretty even. |

Losing to knicks, cavs, and bulls would probably be the nail in the coffin for luke. |

Not a must win but ... we do need every win we can get. I'm not optimistic, but that's more setting expectations low and hopes high. Haha |

Preview: Bulls (10-33) at Lakers (23-21)
Lakers -6.5/-7 o/u 215
The Bulls (10-33) have lost seven straight following a 110-102 loss at the Utah Jazz on Saturday
The Lakers have allowed at least 32 points in the first quarter of five of the past six games, prompting Walton to consider changes to the starting lineup.
"By the end of the games, we're doing a nice job of stabilizing our defense and getting the stops we need, but we can't just keeping giving up 30 points to start the games," Walton said. "We'll take a look at that and, possibly, make a change before Tuesday."
The Bulls have one of the youngest teams in the NBA, including a starting five that ranges in age from 19 to 24. Boylen said he plans to stick with the same lineup moving forward.
"I think there's some force-feeding going on," he said. "We've got to learn how to win."
The most veteran starter for the Bulls is point guard Zach LaVine, who leads Chicago at 23.6 points a game. LaVine, who played one year at UCLA, told reporters he's looking forward to returning to Los Angeles.
"Haven't played in L.A. in a while," he said. "I'm excited. Hopefully it's sunny out there."
LaVine could see time against former UCLA point guard, Lonzo Ball, the second overall draft pick in 2017. Chicago forward Lauri Markkanen was selected five spots behind Ball out of Arizona, another Pac-12 school.

If we lose tonight, I have a feeling like Luke will not be coaching the team for the rest of the year!!
or....
Lakers look to make a trade for a major piece!......I dont know who that would be... but if it were me.... it would be centered around Lonzo Ball and trying to get an expiring contract with all star potential. (Kemba, Kyrie, Jimmy Butler, Vucevic) |

The outcome of this game will impact both of those scenarios in some form or fashion. We'll just have to wait and see but IMO the team bounces back (at least for tonight). |

People have been saying that after the knicks and cavs loss already and yet here he is. I don't expect anything to change even if today was another loss. Magic has said he wouldn't fire Luke mid-season so we'll see if he'll keep his words. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

The guys looked really disappointed in themselves after the Cavs game. I’m expecting them to get it together today and win by 15+. Then to OKC..... |

Its 50-50 chance in this game. We are not better than Bulls at the moment. I just hope some threes will fall and FT will be around 70 %. In that case we can maybe win the game. But its a must win game for sure because next three we are losing for sure. |

Must win game for Luke? What's sad about those NY and Cleveland losses is that those teams coaching staff and brass wanted the Lakers to win. They going for Zion. |

Another opponent bringing a lengthy losing streak into Staples. Hopefully our boys manage to add another loss to that streak this time.
Go Lakers! |

I'm expecting them to win this. They'll come out with energy because of that embarrassing loss....and then they'll have another let down vs OKC. |

We'll have a chance if one of Kuzma or Hart are not in the starting lineup. It's basically a red carpet to the rim with those 2.
Hart especially. My god, is he the most incompetent player I've seen when it comes to playing defense on the perimeter. He's either fouling a 3 pt shooter or losing his man. |
