The leadership stuff was just a cover. Nobody in their right mind would expect a 20 yr old to be a good leader. The trade was made to avenge Byron. |

Atkinson praised D'Angelo Russell's acceptance of coaching & criticism. When asked if DLo's gotten better at it since his #Lakers days or if his rep was a myth: “A myth. From Day 1 I’ve seen none of that. He’s been receptive, accepting, you can coach him." #Nets |

If the Nets can keep DLO, they may team him up with Randle or Porzingis. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

In fact the Leadership stuff sounds like Byron/Showtime talk to me.
The biggest problem we have is that these washed up, somewhat bitter old guys are all over the organization and Jeanie absolutely loves them.
We cannot move forward until we do a wholesale purge. No more Worthy, Stu, Byron, Magic, etc. I would even get rid of all these guys whose job is to kiss up to the old guys. Im looking at you Geeter and Billy Mac.
We need new guys with fresh ideas and a modern outlook. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

DLO, Allen and LeVert. Nets might add another promising talent with top 20 pick this summer. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

We failed our young guys with the interesting juxtaposition of Swaggy and Byron. One guy is not a good off court influence and the other is too old school drill seargent. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Wouldn't count out RHJ as well! The Nets have also done an incredible job developing Joe Harris and Spencer Dinwiddie |

He’s had hot streaks before, but it sure looks like he’s putting it all together and figuring out how to win and, ironically, lead. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

It took both Randle and DLo until year four to finally start to put it all together (and both guys are still flawed and need to continue to improve). _________________ Under New Management |

root issue was that idiotic self imposed deadline by Jimbo that saddled us with Moz and Deng.
Even though Magic was not a fan we would not have traded him if it wasnt for trying to get rid of those toxic contracts. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

DLO struggling in 2nd night of back to back.
Recently, his worst performances were when games were bunched together.
He took one game off and then really balled. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

Yeah, he was getting traded even if he won the MVP. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Mostly 'cos so many fans had it certain that we are drafting Okafor. DLO was a late twist. Funny since Okafor looks like a total bust now. Clowns like Plaschke were moaning for a year and half on LA times that we passed over mighty Okafor for DLO. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

Looked like he was in mud yesterday. Not sure if it was the Celtics hounding him, if it was the b2b, all the players missing, or if he just didn't have it. Didn't have his usual pep that he's been having lately. He has always struggled against length. Something he needs to improve on.
Had some bad turnovers, and some others where I saw what he was trying to do, it just didn't happen.
The first one where the ball dribbled off his knee gave me PTSD. Reminded me of when he dribbled it out of bounds and fell and Laker fans were ready to throw him in the ocean |
