The Rams were predicted to be #1 but they ended up to be #2 after the Saints. Not bad, now the real season starts.

The Saints are obviously formidable (not to mention other teams that could play well), but at least the Rams won't have to play a game in cold weather for the rest of the season. They get a home game in LA in two weeks (let's assume it's not frigid), and then, at worst, a domed game in New Orleans the week after that. And if they make the Super Bowl, it's in another dome in Atlanta.

I don’t want rams to face Dallas. Can you imaging all the bandwagon cowboys fans in LA show up at the game? You think the Green Bay game was bad just wait until you see when the cowboys are in town.

Why can't the Rams have a Back-up QB that can get get a first down and actually MOVE the ball forward?

I mean look at other teams around the NFL, heck the Eagles backup QB not only beat the Rams, but won the Super Bowl.

Brady was a second round pick, you would think with all the dozens of non-drafted QB's coming out of college each year, the Rams could close their eyes, throw a rock and hit a better QB than Minion...!

It's sad...

Another Ram observation: Of the (5) other Teams in the NFC playoffs, the Rams are 1-3 against them this season.

Meaning they will have to probably beat two teams they have already lost to, to even get to the Super Bowl..

Opponent possibilities of SEA/DAL/CHI. Pick your poison but who do you guys prefer for the divisional playoff matchup?

Arizona?

OK, seriously, I expect it will be the Bears followed by the Saints, which give the team the chance to avenge two of their losses. The first-half Rams (Goff) should be in both games, while the second-half (Goff) will be lucky to win one.

Ribbits, or food for thought:

T Gurley: 4.9 yards per carry; vs. Arizona, 2.2; @ SF, 4.2

Andrson: 7.0 yards per carry; vs. SF, 5.7; @ Arizona, 8.4

Hmmmm

We beat Seattle twice. How are we 1-3?

I think Dallas. Seattle always plays us tough, and it's hard to beat the same team 3 times in the same year. Chicago's defense is just so damn good, and even in LA, and even though I still think we would win, they are beastly on that side of the ball. I know Dallas' defense is good too, but not on the Bears' level, and if you're asking me which coaching staff I'd rather face, I'll answer Jason Garrett over Matt Nagy every time.

If you want a “road” game for the Rams here in LA.

Good catch, what I should have said is that that Rams had lost to 3 of the 5 teams! (And beaten 1 team, albeit twice).

Cheers

Dallas has by far the worst point differential among the 3 potential opponents. If you get them off their game, they become 1-dimensional and their offense can really struggle, especially on the road. I also think their defense doesn't play as fast outdoors on a grass field. This isn't to say that Dallas wouldn't at least have a puncher's chance to beat the Rams in LA. Seattle clearly has the worst defense of the 3 teams, and it's not even close. But they have Wilson at QB, and they are a divisional opponent that knows the Rams very well. As for the Bears, I think they probably have the best defense in the league and one of the most imaginative offense minds in the league as their head coach.

The KCgame this year wasn't like that. Last year's playoff game was not like that. When opposing fans have all year to prep for a game then yea... but with just 1 week to load up its a diff story.

you think all those opposition fans traveled to LA to root for their teams? i don't think so, i think majority of those other teams' "fans" are just typical bandwagon or wanna to be seen folks live here in LA who never set a foot in the road team's city. i see a lot of hispanic Packer "fans" when Green Bay was in town, are you telling me there's a huge hispanic population in Wisconsin?

Bears losing right now...I know you have to be careful what you wish for, but I would love to face that offense and Trubisky.
