Mr. Dragon completes the "they die in 3's" trifecta, all on the same day.

RIP.

One of the coolest songs ever

Child to adult could enjoy him making those darn cute Muskrat sounds on his synthesizer

Just a lullaby of beauty that song was. Glad it was a part of my childhood

Thank you for sharing your heART with us.

Float in Peace

One of my friends posted on Twitter that Mean Gene, The Captain, and Super Dave were all known by their famous nicknames and they all died on the same day at the age of 76. Crazy.

That's a bit cool of the coincidence finders.

God wanted some awesome entertainment up there quickly?

Maybe he knows Putin is sending nukes to America and wanted save these guys?

Wait. God killed them so they wouldnā€™t have to die?

Toni Tennille is still alive. They divorced in 2014. She's 78. I didn't know she was older than the Captain.

70s were before my time, but I thought, OK, "Afternoon Delight", but looked that up and that's another band who's gonna wind up in an OT dead thread. Their song is "Do That To Me One More Time". One of those songs you've heard bits and pieces of a billion times in various places, but I wonder if that's unknown to the teen crowd. The expiration date on that one even in commercials might've been 2000. Haven't heard that one in awhile lest we're talking a Best Of 70s Smooth Jams infomercial. Delta Dawn, Seasons In The Sun, Sister Golden Hair, and Midnight At The Oasis also included. Hooked On A Feeling and Love Hurts better be on there if you're gonna buy the whole set of Compact Discs.

I always put this song in with Afternoon Delights (because they played it day and night on some radio stations) ...maybe because Jackie Blue became an afternoon delight ...I was there but it's all kinda fuzzy

The years have been very kind to her, as they say. She still looks great.

For a second, I had to think about this being the off topic forum and though...What?, Kareem?!
