I watched my first Thunder game last night, if they stay healthy I think that they make the WCF. Grant has turned into a really good pro and Paul George’s defense is stupid. I don’t know if Indy would have traded him here but if so, we screwed up big time.

I would be extremely confident about our chances against the Warriors if we had PG-13 this season....and he was playing this way for us.

Especially when you compare the pieces that were being discussed at the time.

Let me preface this by saying Bagley is going to be very very good at least, that's his floor imo, but boy aren't I GLAD Sacremento didn't draft Doncic.

It seemed like a layup, too: Vlade, the Euro, was going to take the Euroleague's best prospect ever. I mean, when the draft process started, and you had the feeling that the Suns would take the local Arizona product Ayton, it just seemed like a foregone conclusion that Vlade would take Doncic. As soon as I started to hear the rumblings that they loved Bagley, I thought it was just a smokescreen. After a while it became clear that they were, indeed, locked on Bagley, and it made no sense then and it makes no sense now. It didn't make sense from a "take the best player available" mantra and it didn't make sense from a team fit perspective, either.

Oopsie!

The haters will say he's just chasing stats and doesn't help his team win. Then, they'll turn around and call James Harden a great player/winner. Regardless of the PG fiasco, Russ is my favorite non-Laker, and I can't wait to break out my new pair of his J's this holiday season!

great win by utah for us.i wonder if instead of chasing pipe dreams
with KD or AD, we could get Lillard or CJ without giving much if Portland ever
decided they need a start from the beginning

Even though they lost yesterday, Philly's potential is scary. I wonder if it's only a matter of time before they're the best team in the east. They're maybe just one role player away.

They're starting to develop one. Shamet, McConnell and Muscala are proving themselves as role players.

Like I said, if/when they get one more role player they could be the next superteam. Makes me want the Lakers to trade for AD that much more.

* #4 LAL (20-14) vs. #8 SAC (18-15); @SAC Thurs, @LAL Sun
* #3 OKC (21-12) vs #12 DAL (15-17); @DAL Sun, @OKC Mon

Lmao, this Hornets Nets game is an exercise in terrible decisions making by both teams. Some dumb fouls to send guys to the line, culminating in a Sasha like foul by Walker with 1 second left and the ball 3/4s court away from the basket to send Carroll to the line to try to win the game.

And then a lane violation on the second miss to give Carroll another chance and he misses it again. Lmao.

Man, Nets and Hornets going at it. Dinwiddie, Harris, and RHJ have been key for the Nets.
