I can see why they don't play Randle in close games

His defense is terribad, thank god they don't have Mirotic out there.

Ironically a lot of fans here want him for his defense

Randle’s defense really fell off a cliff after a great start last season with us. He started out as a monster switcher, moving his feet and being a nightmare for guards. But that vanished as the season went on and he wasn’t that good on D towards the end of the season.

He’s been a monster on offense this season, but haven’t watched the games to see how his D has been. Today wasn’t a good indication on that end.

A couple of weeks ago he was second last for DRPM for power forwards. Randle's defense has been atrocious all year

I have to say...the closing lineup with Zo, Kuz, Bron, BI and Zu was good defensively and rebound-wise. A lot of length/size there.

Much needed win

19-13, need 6-2 to get to 25-15, halfway to a 50 win season

What a fun game to watch. That block by Zu at the end was amazing. AD goes for 30/20 with the flu and loses, that’s rough. Zo has the best +/- Randle has the worst....yup, that’s analytics right there, activity vs accomplishment.

Luke only ran out a 9 man rotation, and seemed to banish Lance completely for the night.

We should never see these super small lineups against teams like Portland or Denver who have multiple bigs.....

A few people are sick and we're giving away more paint points than normal because McGee's out. TBH I'm just glad we won. Pelicans had 46 points in the paint in the first half alone.

Randle was -16 worst of the game.

He was sat in the 4th quarter as well. Probably has the worst defense of any player on the floor today, from either team

Beasley and Lance didn't get any run, which is the right thing to do, when you want your regulars to develop rhythm. I can't believe once upon a time when everybody were healthy, Luke actually squeezed these two in.

I think there was a reason Magic was never a fan of Randle's game, and can probably see why he wasn't big on him, Russell, or Clarkson when Maginka took over, and they viewed Nance the highest out of the four.

Should point out that halfway to a 50 win season is 25-16, which means we need 6-3.

To be honest I'd rather keep our core than trade for AD as well
