When you think about it Beasley getting minutes now makes it seem like we just signed him as a FA, so think of it as a way the team has another potential difference maker.

One decent game and now Lance is the odd man out? Beasley plays no D and fouls too much. Lance can at least hit the occasional 3 and provide some energy on D.

At the end of the day, these guys are bench players. Can't expect them to be great at a night-in night-out basis. It wasn't too long ago that Lance was instrumental in some wins and Bease looked like he forgot how to play ball. Let's just take things in stride and not be too low or too high on players.

Good stuff from Bease tonight. I hope the whole team continues to get better.

Yes sir, can't trip out on how bench players play. Lakers need to throw them at the wall and roll with which ever one sticks.

Lance was key to the first Suns game and home game vs. Denver. The team was struggling at that point, let’s not forget.

Both these guys will have moments where they contribute and moments where they just don’t have it and get limited minutes.

This guy would had put us over OKC in 2012, but instead we went after Sessions who didn't make a difference at all.

Blake
Kobe
MWP
Gasol
Bynum

Add Beasley off the bench and they probably take OKC to 7 games that year.

Turns out Beasley actually can play and fit this team's style. Took Luke over 20 games to realize this.

Exactly. It will all come down to match-ups and who's playing better. I like Lance but in order for him to play Hart has to play PF. Beasley is a better fit at PF so you then move Hart to SG and Lance has to sit. KCP moves to SF and Rondo at the point. But there will be games where we go real small and Lance gets back in/ Bottom line neither Lance or Beasley will take minutes from Hart or KCP. They'll take minutes from each other.

We all know that Beasley can score and he's played well yesterday, but with Rondo coming back I can't see minutes available for him or Stephenson.

Lance was getting minutes with Rondo, so it'll be Lance or Beasley on any given game getting those minutes.

I think it's a situational thing, as in put in Lance and if he sucks put in Beasley, or vice a versa.

I think that's because Beasley shot poorly his first few times out.... didn't know the schemes... plays mediocre D and then went MIA on personal matters. Now they are trying to work him slowly into the rotation because he brings offensive creativity and a some smarts about switching on D (he just has to know the other players and committ to it.) I do not like Lance's game because he is a ball stopper who is up-and-down. At his best, Beasley can light it up consistently in short bursts - - something the 2nd team need from an inside player.

Give Beasley more minutes.

Keep the timid kids on the bench.

Beasley still has something to offer us. I think like Lance, he will have several good impact games for us this season. Especially if we are up big to start 4th quarters, his scoring may help us to rest LBJ more.

His style of play doesn't fit the team at all. All of his scoring comes from ISO and doesn't come from within the flow of the offense compared to a guy like Kumza.

Don't really have a problem with his ISOs as long as he keep converting them into points.

nice tool to have when the passing lanes are clogged with defenders and the running game is just not there and nothing else seems to be working

He took advantage against the slow foot Ryan Anderson who doesn’t offer much on offense either. It is hard to see he plays like that every night.

Beasley and Kuzma are virtually the same player; except Beasley can playmake for his own shot better and Kuzma could move without the ball better. I hope we keep playing Beasley minutes because there would be no need to ahave Kuz as a 6th man. We will get the same production from Bea's when Kuzma sits.

didnt he single-handedly destroy us that one game in NY last year with KP out? he wont get enough opportunities here to do that consistently, but hes well capable of giving us production off the bench against other teams 2nd units. plus hes basically our only other PF than Kuzma, now that Lebron turned out to not be one. should definitely stay part of the main rotation for now

Oh my god! Lakers are so deep this year:

McGee, Chandler
Kuzma, Beasley
James, Hart/Stephenson
Ingram, KCP
Ball, Rando

There are at least 11 players capable for starting in many teams. Not to mention: Svi, Wagner and Zubac
