This reminds me of the story of how Prince trashed Carlos Boozer's mansion when he was renting it....

Scottie Pippen sues comedian over mansion’s damage

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Retired basketball star Scottie Pippen is suing a comedian whom he says trashed his Florida mansion while renting it.

The ex-Chicago Bulls star this week filed suit against Lindsay Glazer Woloshin — a standup comedian nicknamed “The Alphab****” — and her husband Jacob Woloshin, saying they caused $110,000 in damages to the Hall of Famer’s Fort Lauderdale mansion.

The suit says the Woloshins rented the house last year after their home was damaged by Hurricane Irma, agreeing to pay $30,000 a month.

Pippen alleges the Woloshins allowed pets to urinate inside, damaged furnishings, stole utensils and missed utility and rent payments.

Glazer Woloshin is also an attorney. She said in a statement Wednesday the family is not responsible for the damages and says she’s launching a $14 GoFundMe campaign to replace Pippen’s missing utensils.

I would be pissed too with animal piss. If you rented a pet free house to people who let their lap dogs piss and poop everywhere, that would be akin to having a smoke free house and renting it to people who unbeknownst to you, smoked big ol stogies (like Mike Jordan, e.g.). Piss spots and smoke fumes are very difficult to completely eliminate. This is the one time I'm rooting for Scott.

Pippen made 75 million in Portland. He was crim-in-al-ly underpaid in Chicago, because Reinsdorf was a legendary tightwad. Scott also signed a long term deal in 1992 that locked him out of the 1996 boom money. He wanted to renegotiate that deal, but Reinsdorf refused. Hence, Scott left them feeling like he was gonna leave every Summer. They also considered trading him for Kemp, but thought the better of it.

Pacific Northwest screwed up both Mike and Scott. It's a miracle their basketball industry didn't collapse.

Why did the Pacific Northwest screw up Pippen and Jordan?

Portland took Big Sam at 2 and Seattle drafted Pip and traded him for Olden Polyniece, who's greatest skill was being an irritant and loudmouth. Imagine Jordan in Porty and Pippen in Seattle. Like I said, Reinsdorf and Krause mulled Pippen for Kemp in the early 90s, but it never happened. Seattle always had a forlorn yearning for Pippen, I believe, same as the Blazer fans with Jordan, but to a lesser extent, obviously. They got Derrick McKey, who was supposed to be the next Pippen, but he didn't have the motor to reach his peak, imo. Kinda like Elden in that respect. He was pretty good when he was on, he actually was one of the lanky/wingspanny SFs who could guard Magic 1:1. He would usually guard Magic in the years they played. Before that, the Sonics had XMan to throw at him. He was a tweener SF and Magic tore him up 1:1. He spun around that guy on the perimeter like LeBron does now. Just not as athletically. He could also get the hook over him.

In 87, X choked Wes Matthews, Sr. with two hands during a scuffle. He was a meanie.

I read the story somewhere else, and it was much longer....and funnier. Apparently in the suit....Pippen falsely claimed the tenant Lindsay Glazer Woloshin was a member of the wealthy Glazer family that owns the Tampa Bay Buc's and Manchester United.....and she responded if that was true, she would have rented from Michael Jordan instead of Pippen.

MJ got paid peanuts on the Bulls except for the last 2 years. Lucky he had his Nike money otherwise he would've left that franchise before they ever did a 3 peat.

Looks like the GoFundMe campaign to replace Pippen's missing kitchen knives was a success:
