We need shooters not bigs

How did that work out for us?

I trust Magic. He will make the right moves at the trade deadline and get us some shooters, not some rookie scrubs lmao

We were ahead the whole game until we pulled our bigs at the end. Pretty simple

To be fair we havent had Ingram in the 4 games , that would help a lot having him shoot over his long arms

right. the chicken with its head cut off offense Luke runs. easy way out for him to coach that way

It's been a problem for the Lakers all season. Nurkic, with Portland, Jokic with Denver, Vucevic with Orlando...now, Bertans with San Antonio. Our bigs like to fall back into the paint, on those pnr's/help defense, which leaves big's who can shoot from the perimeter, wide open looks. Unless you really commit to switching, or guys playing great rotational defense, just gonna have to grin and bear it.

When we had Randle, who was a mobile big, this wasn't so much a problem.

Half of his points were from the foul line. Him and Harden just can parade to the line each every game no matter what.

Now go find the stat that shows his FT attempts during said 4 games- bet you it's something like, 13 a game which tells me the game was being called unfairly in his favor.

I will say the mistake Lebron did in the 4th was that he kept taking it to the rack to get a call when he wasn't getting any calls. There were open shooters he could have hit. But he thought he was going to get those calls. Seems like the whole team was deflated when he wasn't getting it.

That was surprising because he usually gets the whistle every time when he attacks late in the game and then the worry is just whether or not he will make the free throws.

He's one of the league leaders in free throws, he has a lot more than Derozan. He got 9 free throws tonight even with those calls they missed.

Spurs bummed out they don't get to face the Lakers again this season. Now back to suffering 30+ point blowout losses against other teams.

You are correct those two losses to Orlando come to mind as well

Anyone resembles a stretch 5 will give this team problem, case in point tonight with Bertan. And yet, our coach is not letting out own stretch 5 play.

He was a stretch 4 being defended by our stretch 4. Stopped passing the ball in fourth and everyone stood around watching LeBron. And we played Beasley, who has a knack of destroying team momentum.

Oh but we will. A good defensive team vs zero defense team is a recipe for disaster for Puke Walton

133 points to a mediocre team...smh

1-3 vs. Spurs, hopefully it doesn’t hurt them for a playoff spot.

Make that 1-5 to 2 teams with 12-14 records.

Stretch bigs don’t bother us it’s the fact that we don’t have a big who can guard constantly beyond the arc that’s why I want Taj Gibson he has the mobility to keep up with bigs who like to shoot the 3 ball, McGee and Chandler are more of a player who like defending down low, and Wagner doesn’t have the experience to play defense at the 3pt line.

They don't even try to guard the 3 point line. The Lakers defense is all about packing the middle and protecting the rim. If the other team can make open shots, the defense is busted.
